Also I would like to thank the hotel staff because they were so thoughtful and placed us in a room away from other occupied rooms so we didn’t have to worry about the baby being loud at night.
Breakfast is delicious, the rooms are beautiful and the hotel, which is designed like a cruiser is breathtaking.
Also wonderful for a romantic getaway.

The staff are extremely welcoming and so lovely and ready to help with anything you need. They really go above and beyond! The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Carmen will greet you and you will just fall in love with her. She will make you anything you like with a smile of course what a lovely lady! The dining room was small but lovely and cosy! Fabulous chef made an amazing meal for us. We will definitely be passing the word about this place we very much enjoyed our stay!!

Hotel location is a 11/10.
There is a boat going from the city to the island and back once per hour and is free of charge for the hotel guests.
The hotel building and the gardens have history and you can see it as soon as you set foot on the island, everything is well maintained and is really beautiful.
A lot of natural shade, a gravel beach which is not very usual for this part of Croatia, and the privacy of an small island make this hotel a true gem for guests wanting to relax as much as possible.
Sunbeds and sunshades are free of charge for hotel guests.
Except for the girl at the reception at the shore which was a bit moody when we arrived, everyone else was exceptionally friendly, from the cleaning stuff to receptionist, waiters to cooks.

Believe the reviews, Christian & his staff go above & beyond to make this great place wonderful. They work so hard. Just a 12 min walk to the centre, very easy and Christian has bikes available which was brilliant for us, you see so much more. Lovely cycle path South of Rovinj which hugs the coast for miles. Loads of places to swim.
We'll be back if we can, for sure. Don't hesitate to book it's a wonderful hotel.

Absolutely amazing accommodation. Clean mobile home, nice place, nice staff, especially ladies in golf car - they gave beautiful little toy (dragon) to my daughter. Thank you very much. We can't wait for another visit.

The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone.
The town was perfect size so walking is easy for everyone. Please note the cobbled streets can be a little slippery so fancy high heeled shoes are a No-No!
The local people are kind and friendly and everyone is catered for.
Little tip:- book restaurants early to avoid disappointment not obtaining a reservation.

Nice quiet little stone Istrian town full of charm and history. It is nicely located for easy access to Rovinj and Pula. It is also a great starting point for biking as well. You must dine at the La Grisa restaurant and Borghetto restaurant.

I liked the chance to find a beach that suits you, wheather you like bigger rocks, sand, natural shade, more hidden parts...
There are many options for short trips with children by car: Cape Kamenjak, Aquarium Pula, Dinopark Funtana, Safari Brioni, or just evening trip to beautiful Fažana. You can visit points, like Sv. Foška or old military forts along the coast.

This is not a tourist location but a small peaceful village. There are a couple of cafe/bar/pizza joints & two small supermarkets. The countryside on the outskirts of the village was lovely & rural. It's only 15 minutes from Rovinj.

It is very convenient for us that Bale is somewhere in the middle between Pula and Rovinj, also many great sights to see such as Kamenjak, also a lof of small islands to visit. We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 5 nights and it was much too short! Could visit for a month.

Barbariga and old Barbariga is a some kind of holiday resort for familys with children and many wild and also arranged beaches with many trees with natural shadow and arranged 2,5 wide path. You can reach everything around in 0,5 to 3 km distance by foot, bicycle or a car.

This was my third visit to Croatia in three years - it's just wonderful. Rovinj is so inspiring and beautiful and charming I got three stories and lots of pictures from my visit for my magazine here in the USA. Don't think about it - GO! Rovinj, 'bless you, I'll be back and pronto!!

Bale is located within driving distance to bigger tourist attractions (Pula, Brijuni/Fazana, Rovinj are 20-25 min away), which makes it close enough to explore and far enough to avoid noise and crowds. I loved its location, because it is also convenient for outdoor activities (proximity of sea, biking, hiking). I loved the old city, cobbled streets, beautiful vistas. I would recommend it equally to those looking for an active vacation experience or to those just looking to relax.
