- From US$141.10 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 704 reviewsWe were really surprised how nice the accommodation was! The house was quite big, clean and modern looking. The terrace is a huge plus, there were even outside curtains for more privacy. The beach is literally less than 70m away from the furthest of houses and even during the busiest season felt quite empty and not overcrowded at all. You can call Uber / Bolt and get around easily without having to drive your car around all nearby locations and discover other lovely beaches and coves. We're rating this accommodation a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone. The breakfast was nice with a lot of options,. The best thing was that you can choose whether to go (you can pay on the spot) or stay in bed longer and don't have to worry about your prepaid breakfast. :) The pool closer to the houses was open 24/7 so you could go for a quiet night swim and opposed to the other one that was closer to the reception it was empty most of the time, which made it our "private" pool.Guest review byMilanCzech Republic
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 618 reviewsOur stay at Hotel Hvar was wonderful. We chose the All-Inclusive option and loved the food. At each meal, we could choose from a great variety of freshly prepared and tasty dishes. Our joined rooms were impeccably clean and tidy. The location is fantastic. We walked to different beaches in the vicinity and the town of Jelsa is close by and is stunning. We found the staff very friendly and professional. A special thanks to Nikola the barman and the wonderful team in the dining room who were fast to take care of us and willing to stop for a chat. All in all, the staff made our stay extra special. Thank you.Guest review byJasnaBosnia and Herzegovina
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 87 reviewsThis is difficult for me because I switched rooms. The first night I was staying in a seaside room but I couldn't see the sea so when I asked to be switched, the gal at front desk wouldn't believe me and kept insisting that I was in seaside room. Finally, she agreed to switch me to a tiny, tiny room but the VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE so even though the room was much smaller, I didn't care because the view was worth it! The smaller room did not have a tea kettle. The other staff was good, very pleasant.Guest review byLesleyUnited States

The food was delicious, always fresh, and there was a good variety of dishes. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away, with clean and warm water. The hotel’s location is excellent: shops and cafés are nearby, yet the area is quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a relaxing vacation. Big thanks to the staff for their hospitality — we’ll definitely come back again!Guest review byJózsef RománHungary

Fabulous historical city with everything nearby.
Fabulous historical city with everything nearby. Ferry service to islands is easy. Highly recommend a walk up the Marian Steps to enjoy the incredible view. Quaint eateries and bars tucked down alleyways, Teak was outstanding in service and food. Promenade is nice but very crowded. Great market for fresh fruit & vege.Guest review byJOSNew Zealand - 10.0

Makarska is the capital of Makarska Riviera and has all required infrastructure with well-equipped beaches, rest areas, shops, transport connections and entertainment venues. Unfortunately, when we needed medical help and X-Ray inspection after getting trauma, we had to go to Split (State Hospital).Guest review byTimmerman - 10.0
I loved Hvar.
I loved Hvar. Scenery beautiful, great restaurants in the town at the back of the main square, very pretty settings some are expensive to other European travels I've been on. Our favourite restaurants were Black Pepper, Fig, Junior. Would not choose to visit July/August main town can be very busy. Sun beds along the coast can be expensive to hire. Saying this I travelled as a couple In September and we loved Hvar.Guest review byVivienneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia.
For me, this is simply the best place in Croatia. It's smaller than, for example, Makarska, and lacks noisy clubs and loud nightlife, which I consider strong advantages. You can find everything you need: beautiful beaches, bars, snack stands, and upscale restaurants. Renting a sunbed or umbrella is easy, and exciting water sports equipment, such as water jets, is also available. Highly recommended.Guest review byKrzysztofPoland - 10.0
A small, picturesque coastal town on the island Brač.
A small, picturesque coastal town on the island Brač. In this time of the year it is vibing with peaceful, non-intruding atmosphere, nothing short from a carefully selected movie scenery of a typical adriatic costal town.Guest review byVladimirSlovenia - 10.0

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom...
Crystal clear water and you can see straight to the bottom even when it’s deep. The water is so clean it’s almost unreal, like swimming in a giant natural pool. If you love pristine beaches and amazing water quality, this place is absolutely worth it. The only downsides are that getting into the water can be a bit tricky since it’s rocky rather than sandy beaches. Also, the supermarkets have very limited options - even the biggest one doesn’t have much variety if you’re planning to cook during your stay.Guest review byЕвгений ПрусовGermany
