United KingdomThe apartment was very cosy and clean. We got provided coffee capsules for each morning and tea which was a very nice touch.
Me and my partner liked how the apartment was designed.
It was quiet, but we were there before season so I don't know if that changes when the town gets busier.
The apartment is close to a small centre of the town which offers majority of shops and restaurants (just check for closing times, because everything closed early when we visited).
We did some great hiking trails, you can easily use local buses and trains as the apartment is close to this too.
We got provided clean towels, shower gels and body moisture as per description.

We had a great stay at Berkes Vendégház by Lake Balaton. The place was clean, spacious. Its location is fantasticand, good breakfast, and above all, we were incredibly impressed by our host's kindness and dedication. After we accidentally left our phone charger behind, she immediately called us and drove over 16 km to return it — all on her own initiative. That level of service is truly rare and deeply appreciated! Highly recommended

If you are looking for a relaxing quite time with an amazing view, nice food and wine, quite rest, this is ideal! it was peaceful and harmonious for me, with my morning exercide in the garden with a stunning view over the lake. The sunsets in the garden are gorgeous. The design of the room is also perfect. The breakfast is with love!

Tidy rooms with good restaurant. Easy location for villages and vineyards and on good bike route . Restaurant food was excellent, breakfast was average . Locked out of main building by 8:30 to a bedroom or a tiny communal entrance

Everything was marvelous! We felt in love with this place. I strongly recomend this place, because you can find here everything you need. The room was great equiped and the host made our visit best as they could.

Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake.
Nice, small city with (paid) beach at Balaton lake. Full of tourist in the centre(parkings also paid) but if you go uphill - towards hills - you can find not only delicious wine but relaxing atmosphere.

Szigliget is fabulous.
Szigliget is fabulous. Tranquil, scenic, relaxing.Of course the main draw is the lake, but don’t overlook the surrounding landscape and nature.
While you are there check out the Vulcanus restaurant/winery on Antal Hegy. A 5 min drive from the center of town.
The best cousin in the most beautiful setting with a view of the lake in one direction and the castle another.The proprietors are incredibly kind, knowledgable and helpful. An unforgettable experience.
We discovered it last summer, and made it a point to go back again this year.

Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton.
Badacsony is a another wonderful spot on Lake Balaton. Walking around the area is very scenic. There is the port area , recently renovated, great innovative playground for kids. Also on display was a history of famous architect , with one of his structures recently renovated. The strand , the paying beach is well maintained and has lots of shady trees to sit under if hot. The hills are dotted with wineries , took many photos of the traditional housing structures. Had lots of choice for eating out from simple food to fine dining.
The main town centre has lots if large trees which make it very cooling on a hot summer days ( Too many places have too much concrete )
Area well catered for those on bikes , also have hire bike shop in town.
