We stayed there for 4 nights, everything was very good . Sometimes you may forget that you are in 3 star hotel and can be a little disappointed for breakfast , but for a 3 star hotel is good. Great value for money, would definitely recommend and come again. The location is up on a hill, it's very peaceful, easy to find, it's has private parking.

Modern, classy and upscale. Well lit and spacious room, comfortable bed, crisp linens and bedding, roomy and well laid out bathroom. Our corner unit had a double balcony with wicker deck chairs and tables. Breakfast selection was delicious, plentiful and typically European with a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, bakery items, yogurts, cold and hot cereals and the option of a hot breakfast made to order. Dining room was elegant, with linen tablecloths, napkins, and bud flower vases offering indoor and outdoor seating. Despite some language difficulties hotel staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive. A first class hotel in every respect.

This is a great place, it's not cheap but....worth it!!! It is very big place with a castle section, a Palace section, a welnees, a theme park, ponds, knights, the works, perfect single travellers or for families with kids because they are kept separate, even at breakfast there is a special place for families to eat !!! Great!!! The breakfast is realky good and it's about 3 rooms big. And a special thank you for miss Kitty, she went out of here way to let me stay longer, even when the hotel was full, thanks!!!

On the day we checked in, there were only the two of our rooms, but the next morning there was still a wide selection of breakfast foods, all very delicious. The front desk staff spoke English, were very polite, and they even personally escorted us to the restaurant we had booked next to the hotel. Two days after leaving, I realized I had left a piece of clothing behind, and they proactively offered to mail it to me. The service at this hotel is excellent! The hotel gives a very elegant and strong countryside/classical vibe — simple yet very comfortable. The value for money is excellent! Villány is a quiet and pleasant place, and the wine is great. I hope to have the chance to return and stay at this hotel again!

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is right outside the historic city centre so it just takes a few minutes to get there. It is very nicely layed out around an inner courtyard which also features as parking. With a bit of squeezing it was possible to get 2 cars and 1 motorcycle there (we arrived by car). The whole hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything is clean, and very nicely decorated - especially the breakfast room. The room itself was a bit more sober, but spacious and clean - including the bathroom. Free wifi worked without any problems. With Pecs being a very beautiful city, this would definitely be the hotel to return to.

I was looking for a weekend getaway, and it was absolutely amazing! The breakfast and dinner buffet were rich and plentiful, the staff was very accommodating and actually spoke English, Soo there wasn't language barrier(they even knew some croatian)... Spa areas were lovely and very clean, staff was there if anything was needed... Even though the spa isn't too big it wasn't too crowded...Beds were comfortable and rooms kept up to standards everyday... It's in a nice and quiet area Soo you can definetly get a good night's sleep! All thanks for an amazing weekend, definitely recommend and am coming back to this hidden gem ;)

I visited for the Christmas market and it was very nice, I enjoyed the atmosphere, there weren't huge amounts of people and the lightshow was very spectacular on the main square on the Dzsámi. If you are looking for a nice Christmas market in Hungary outside of Budapest Pécs is an excellent choice.

Nice small town, everything is walking distance. I would recommend Harkany Thermal spa where the whole family will enjoy. And if you want a special experience, take a swim in the outside pool in wintertime 😊

During our stay, my husband and I, along with just one other couple, were the only visitors in the entire village. Almost nothing was open, and the village felt completely quiet. With such low tourist activity and few amenities available, I expected a more flexible price or better services.

Wonderful town in Hungary! Nice shops, good restaurants! There was a restaurant that I went to called Trabert Hof in the town of Feked , which is very close to Pec. I feel was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The owner was super friendly and helpful with the food menu. Very cute town! Attended a ballet class for adults in Pec, which was great for stretching prior to walking the Christmas markets. You can walk anywhere in pec.

Harkany is a small quiet town and when we walked in the evening, some local restaurants (csarda) we saw on Google maps were closed (February). We tried to enter some restaurants at 20h and were told that the kitchen is closed at 18h. Everything is closed in this town in the evening. Funny, but the only way to find some food was to go to Spar supermarket and get some ready-to-go cooked food. Only another thing we found working in the evening was Tenkes Csarda, 6km drive by car. The local bakery on the main street has some local cakes, but the selection was very limited and was nothing special.

I loved the street with small bars/restaurants made in wine cellars (look for a few that have a terrace on the other side - looking into the vineyards). Winetasting and lunch at GERE TAMÁS ÉS ZSOLT WINERY - would definitely recommend.

The Csontvary Museum, The Zsolnay Museum and the Vasarely Museum were real treats. The Cathedral and the Mosque now a Catholic Church are really impressive. We were there only for two days and we could not cram any more into them. There are so many more museums in Pecs and we could have filled two more days! The restaurant pizzeria L'Elefante makes an authentic Neapolitan pizza. We had a good latte and turos batyu in the Aranycipo coffee shop,

Well, what everybody will rather dislike is the current...

Well, what everybody will rather dislike is the current inflation and, consequently, rising prices, but this rise is not that huge. Harkany is an ideal place for relaxation, swimming, lying on the grass in the park where the pools are located, and doing nothing apart from enjoying your time there. If you like the wine offered in the bar located next to the main entrance to the strandfurdo, visit the vinery - its owner is Gergen Birtok and you`ll find his shop in Siklos-Gyod, Jaro Peter ut.35. You can buy there wine on draft or in bottles.

Villany is easily walkable for great wine and food. Everywhere we went was dog-friendly! We loved Bock restaurant (dog friendly inside!) and Fritsch is a gem - delicious wine and an amazing price! We stocked up here! We enjoyed our stay at Eckhardt Panzio (so happy they had a cancellation after our disappointing evening at Halasi) Definitely check out the castle in Siklos. If I were going again, I would not go on a Monday and Tuesday again - even though it was nice and quiet (which we loved), most places were closed.
