We really enjoyed from our experience. The hotel has an opportunity to have free taxi in 5 km which is very comfortable for Bali. The most fascinating thing was the employees, they were very friendly and they have created the huge difference between Onaya and the other good hotel. I insistly suggest to visit Onaya and we are looking forward to come back there :)

The views were stunning the staff were great always on point fast and helpful. The food was above all the other 5 star resorts while visiting Bali and also were the staff. Speed is something we noticed at other but not here, it’s was truly fast and a high quietly service. The only thing that could of made it better was maybe some live music but I understand not all people may want this. Kind regards James Jackson

The property was fantastic! The rooms were clean, spacious and well designed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. What made the difference for me was the staff and service they provided. Even before arrival the team provided recommendations and locations to visit. Very customer service orientated and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super yummy as well! The staff always friendly, welcoming and available to help! The resort is in a very quiet place in the surroundigs of Ubud centre. You can walk to the center easily through the Monkey Forest. There are plenty options of restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, clean and the bathroom is just amazing. There was a spacious balcony also. I stayed at room 304. It is near the pool. Amazing! Staying here was just perfect! I came to heal my broken heart and I really found peace and joy here at Weda Cita! I would advise 100%!

An Island Dream

Padma Resort Ubud is, simply put, the best resort I have ever been to. The hotel grounds are huge and located in a lush jungle river valley. Common areas include (among others) an amazing pool with a sunken pool bar, a bamboo nest used for yoga classes and private dinners, a well-equipped gym, two very nice restaurants, a cocktail lounge bar, an incredibly atmospheric spa, a very nicely arranged garden with an animal farm, archery and golfing facitilies and a trully unique track going around the hotel and into the jungle itself. All of these places have been designed very carefully to provide both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Views are breathtaking wherever you go. The array of activities provided is simply impressive. The hotel has something for everyone. The rooms are very elegant, spacious and comfy. The cleanliness was impeccable. The food everywhere in the hotel was really good. The cocktails were masterfully crafted and the wine list was good as well. All these however, were relatively insignificant compared to the true highlight, which was the amazing staff. All of the people we met there were beyond kind, extremely helpful, always with a smile, they went the extra mile to provide us with the best experience possible and their demeanour was what made our day, every day. We would like to thank them all for these days. We were genuinely sad to leave and we hope to return some day, even though we live half the world away. To sum up, if you are looking for the perfect place to relax in the beautiful island of Bali, and you have a little extra holiday money to spare, look no further. Padma Ubud will probably be the best place you have ever been.

Hi, I travelled there with my wife for her birthday. it was beyond our expectations! the place, the food, the staff, the cleanliness (and me and my wife are very picky when it comes to cleanliness) everything was amazinggg!! they made a surprise birthday and cake for my wife when we arrived, was a really nice gesture. room service is excellent really fast. the view of the jungle was really nice. the pictures don't do this place justice. the rooms also are more wonderful in reality. The only thing i wish if it was a little bit cheaper. Would definitely recommend it :)

Staff were fabulous. Location exactly what we wanted, quiet and very relaxing. The staff were very attentive to our every needs, and went above and beyond. We would stay here again for sure. It is expensive but for us was worth the money. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the restaurant in the hotel and the Teppanyaki were top class.

The staff made our stay so special with little touches, such as a free room upgrade and cake in the room on arrival as we’d booked to stay for our honeymoon to sending ginger tea to the room when they found out I wasn’t feeling well. The hotel and location is beautiful and very well looked after.

If you want to avoid the traffic and hustle and bustle of Kuta Ubud is a great place to stay for a few day. Just bear in mind that Ubud is a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from Kuta so once you are there .. stay put and enjoy the Ubud vibes.. rice terraces, cool cafes and little shops.

Kuta has a friendly and welcoming vibe, with lovely people, but the area can feel overwhelming due to the high crowd levels and a noticeable lack of cleanliness, which can make navigating and enjoying the streets less pleasant.

I’ll probably only stay in Seminyak going forward as there is everything you need there. Restaurants are good, traffic is bad, beaches are full of rubbish but hotels and villas are great. It’s easy to get grab or Gojek taxis so it’s easy to get around and cheap. Lots of circle k’s so easy to get drinks and snacks.

This was the furthest I have ever been from home, and I was surprised at how welcome I felt. My accommodations were lovely. The staff was caring and helpful. And the food inside and outside the villa was amazing. I either walked to where I wanted to go or called for a ride. Both actions were easy. I took a pottery class--which was fun. And one of our drivers happily explained a lot about the culture of the area. I would return and stay in the same place again.

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants, bars and cafe's lean more towards the coastal side, it's very easy to get around here with lots of Grab/GoJek bikes and cars driving around often, never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Walking around would be easy too, the sidewalks aren't too difficult however the humps and hills of the roads are definitely a workout in the hot sun. Lots of construction in Uluwatu, the streets are noisy, lots of trucks and drilling everywhere.

The Alantara is a very quiet and special resort tucked away...

The Alantara is a very quiet and special resort tucked away in Sanur. It has amazing staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We dined at the restaurant quite often during our stay and were never disappointed by the quality of the food and service. The swim up bar was always staffed while the pool was open. The Alantara offers a shuttle bus which leaves on the hour and will take you to a shopping centre. From there the beach is a 5-minute walk or 10-minute walk to the ICON shopping centre which has quite a few high-end shops and access to the beach. Grabs are readily available.

Nusa Due was cool, its a bit like "Bali for beginners", its like Seminyak but way less traffic and people, you won't get the great deals on shopping there, its western prices in most places, as well as in the restaurants.

This is a gorgeous, tranquil property, right in the heart of the city. The pools are gorgeous and clean, the room is kitted out with all the amenities you need, the restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and the service and food is outstanding, and affordable. Loved every minute, we will be back!

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August...

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

Horrible.

Horrible. No facilities, beaches distance to each other more than 1 hour and tortuous traffic and roads. Felt so sick that I had to cancel the tour and pay for it anyway. The beaches only for instagram contents, no possible to reach at all. Crystal beach ugly, grey sand and dirty. Unfortunately there were no transports to get back to Kuta so had to spend the night there and get the first speedy boat at 9 am. Was so exhausted and excited to leave. People are like sharks once arrived at the harbour at the point that they confused me, made me loose my belongings and giving us lots of stress. I am in Gili island right now and it’s amazing here. People is amazing , so the food, the vibes and everything excellent. Feeling in Paradise after a day in hell.
