The hotel is beautifully designed, well maintained and clean. Our room was spacious, well furnished, with a large terrace. The staff was very helpful and helped with a late check-in. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. Top recommendations for this hotel.

Amazing stay, view is better than how it looks on the pictures (probably the best view I ever seen from a hotel). Staff is friendly and helpful. They have scooter rental on spot (not overpriced) which is handy as the hotel is in a quiet spot.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we checked in, our experience at this beautiful Uluwatu gem was nothing short of exceptional. The room met all our expectations - it was well-appointed, clean, and truly felt like a home away from home. The overall ambience of the hotel resonates with beauty and serenity, making it a perfect getaway for those seeking calm. What truly set our stay apart were the wonderful staff, especially the ladies at the reception. A big shout out to Isma, Fina, Cha, and Xuni. Their unwavering dedication, kindness, and prompt assistance in every matter were exemplary. They genuinely cared about our comfort and ensured our stay was memorable. Their warm smiles and helpful nature truly enhanced our holiday. If you're considering a peaceful retreat in Uluwatu, look no further. We are beyond pleased with our experience and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommended!

FAQs about hotels in Bali

An Island Dream

The dream destination of Bali is where volcanic landscape meets lush rice terraces and pristine beaches. Not to mention the fantastic surfing, cheap shopping and pervading spirituality that have made this Indonesian island a long-time favourite for backpackers.

The island’s capital is Denpasar in the south, but its surf and party capital is nearby Kuta. Swaying palm trees line the beach here and many more cover the grounds of the Bali hotels on the beach in more exclusive Seminyak to the north.

On the island’s north coast, Pemuteran beach offers lovely views of the sloping mountains heading towards the Bali Sea. Many beaches on this coast are black sand, including sweeping Lovina beach from where dolphins can often be seen. Tulamben in the east is one of the better diving resorts in Bali, while Sanur is a popular option for families.

Ubud is the island’s cultural capital and houses a monkey sanctuary in its jungle-like landscape. An ancient Hindu temple is found here, but the best-known temple is Tanah Lot, surrounded by water. There are also hundreds of fantastic spas in Bali, as well as meditation and yoga classes that you can join.

Whether you choose to stay inland or by the beautiful coastline, Booking.com has a great range of villas, guest houses and hotels in Bali.

To me, Ubud is the cultural core of Bali.

To me, Ubud is the cultural core of Bali. It has almost everything that defines the unique Balinese experience. There are temples, rice fields, museums, art and culture, spas in authentic traditional setting and a shopping mile where you can get a good mix of international and local brands, for every budget. At the same time, it is also a victim of its own success. Its popularity meant more crowds, congested streets, traffic jams, increased competition among sellers, pushing up prices for souvenirs and local goods. Everyone is selling more or less the same items, lacking in diversity and originality. So, it really takes the discerning eye and great bargaining prowess to get the best deals for authentic items and memorable keepsakes. I also wished that there were more “halal” food options in Ubud, that can fit into every budget. The Arabian Nights Resto was quite a good option, with a variety of Arab and Mediterranean cuisine. Portions are quite large, and a nice ambience. What was missing eateries or cafes offering mid-range pricing and those that are much friendlier on the pocket.

Seminyak is crazy busy, and the traffic is insane certain times of the day. There are motor scooters on the footpaths etc. Its great if your after nightlife and shopping and restaurants + close to the beaches, if that is what you are after. Travelling with a family it was not for us, the streets feel unsafe to walk with children due to the traffic.

This was the furthest I have ever been from home, and I was surprised at how welcome I felt. My accommodations were lovely. The staff was caring and helpful. And the food inside and outside the villa was amazing. I either walked to where I wanted to go or called for a ride. Both actions were easy. I took a pottery class--which was fun. And one of our drivers happily explained a lot about the culture of the area. I would return and stay in the same place again.

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants, bars and cafe's lean more towards the coastal side, it's very easy to get around here with lots of Grab/GoJek bikes and cars driving around often, never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Walking around would be easy too, the sidewalks aren't too difficult however the humps and hills of the roads are definitely a workout in the hot sun. Lots of construction in Uluwatu, the streets are noisy, lots of trucks and drilling everywhere.

This is my 6th visit to Sanur since 2009, and it's sad to see its current state; it's really rundown. The saving grace for me is all the wonderful places to eat, and the beach is decent for walks or biking (you can go a fair ways). Sanur is great for a few weeks max if you're alright with a little bit of chaos; beyond that, it gets a bit much (we were there for almost three weeks).

Legian is very central place in Kuta .

Legian is very central place in Kuta . Very crowded and packed with budget hotels and bars. For night life is good and also for those seeking street life experience. If you want resort style vacations the place is not convenient. A problem in Legian is the traffic and the narrow roads. Be prepared to be stuck if use a car to move around
