Incredible views. Super private. Amazing customer service. If you want to experience Mount Batur in privacy, immerse yourself in the nature, this is the place. The property is new, we were second guests. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The road to get there is tricky, but they offer a service to pick you up from the main street and its just a 5min drive. I highly recommend this place for nature lovers and those who want to experience tranquility.

We had a wonderful stay at Lava Sky. The cabin was comfortable, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxing. A special mention goes to Ras, the incredibly friendly owner who truly goes the extra mile to accommodate his guests. His hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area

Absolutely amazing stay! The owner is incredibly kind and responsive — truly rare to meet someone so attentive. It’s also almost impossible to find a place in this area where you can order food after 9 PM, but they prepared a full meal for us at 11 PM, and everything was delicious. The rooms are stylish, spotless, and super comfortable, and the property has a spectacular view — waking up to that scenery was unforgettable. On top of that, the owner upgraded our room for free, which was such a pleasant surprise, and even prepared a complimentary homemade breakfast that was absolutely wonderful. I genuinely recommend this place to everyone — great hospitality, great people, and a perfect experience overall!

The photos that advertise these parts of the house are really very professionally taken. So you shouldn't set your expectations TOO high. It corresponds absolutely to the facts, not that I hiker is misunderstood. 😉 Only a 9 because a) The apartment was not kept to the high standard, for example there is no option to hang up your clothes b) There is also an increased need for cleaning, especially in the kitchen area c) In my opinion you can't really cook there anyway, there are a lot of things missing d) When it is windy it drafts in the apartment, which I personally (!) found unpleasant. Personally, I also lacked a refrigerator, but I was allowed to used that one from the staff. Thanks for that. 🙂 As I understand, the apartment is powered by spring water, which is of course pretty cool. The breakfast that was delivered was very tasty. And the staff very friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing experience at Cinze Villas. The hot water pools, each with a different temperature is a unique concept, is a wonderful idea and incredibly relaxing, especially at night. I suggest taking day trips to explore the rural area during the day, then enjoying the villa in the afternoon and evening, when the atmosphere becomes truly magical. During the day, you might notice some flies around the hotel, but this is due to the surrounding farmland, where natural compost is used, which attracts them. It can get a bit chilly at night, so I recommend bringing a light jacket, but soaking in the hot pools under the night sky is an unmissable experience. The staff is lovely, and the food is excellent, a mix of Indonesian and Western dishes (be sure to try the chicken parmigiana!). We really hope to come back soon.

The surroundings were serene and the views were magnificent. Having a private warm natural spring bath at the door made it a spectacular experience. For anyone thinking to trek Mt Batur I highly recommend staying here for a night. My private tour was organised by the Villa on the night I arrived for the next morning. There were very accomodating, assisting and provided great value.

We stayed here with a group of friends and rented 4 cottages. Everything was absolutely perfect. The property is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by greenery. The staff were always friendly and smiling, which made the experience even better. We tried all the breakfast options and each one was delicious and clearly made with care. A special highlight was the hot spring where we ended up spending half the evening just relaxing and chatting. And the beds and pillows deserve a mention of their own — we all joked that it felt like sleeping in a cloud. So soft and cozy, it was impossible not to get a great night’s sleep. This is a place you’d happily recommend and definitely want to return to.
