My wife, baby daughter Juna and I had such a pleasant time at Sanur house. The location, the spacious room, the beautiful garden, the positive vibe and the super friendly, kind and always interested staff. We enjoyed hanging out at the hotel during our stay and having small talk. No questions were ever too much for the staff either. Our daughter adored them. We cancelled our stay somewhere else and booked an additional stay at Sanur House. Straight 10 out of 10.

Absolutely amazing hotel, even when fully booked it does not feel busy. Breakfast was excellent with many options, all of the restaurants were great. Room, hotel and garden impeccably clean and maintained. The pools did not smell of chlorine. We absolutely loved the place!

Just left this villa and was so happy to have found it. Impeccably clean, warm and kind service with a nothing they can't do for you attitude; better than the photos. Amazing location in Sanur in the heart of everything, yet set back from the beach so it is very quiet. We had the best sleeps in the king sized bed and loved the big windows looking out to the garden. I appreciated the sustainability focus, with refillable glass water bottles, easy access to free filtered water, large bottles of toiletries, and the option to reuse our towels. Thank you to Ayu and all the staff. We will be back.

We have visited Bali many times over the past 20 years, and have particularly fallen in love with Sanur. We've spent the last 5days at The Meru Sanur and then transferred to the sister hotel The Bali Beach Hotel for a further 5days...we have absolutely loved our stay at both these stylish, well located beach hotels, there are many fabulous restaurants and cafes and the lcon mall within walking distance. The pool, fitness centre as well as the breakfast are all amazing. The service at both hotels has been superb and a particular mention and shout out to Aris who has gone above and beyond in making our experience particularly memorable...thank you Aris, you are a valuable member of staff at this hotel!

Great location. Open, spacious. Large and lovely pool. Great gym. Close to a small local market and Mall. The Staff was outstanding. Very friendly and prompt and helpful. Thanks to Adi, we got a room with a fantastic view. I must compliment Gus Adi for the efforts he made to get us a room of our choice. He is rightly designated as a Guest Ambassador. We liked the rooms which were stylish, exceptionally clean and bright. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis and staff re-filled our water bottles with drinking water every day. Beds were spatious, we had one double room and one interconnecting rooms, both of them exceeded our expectations. On our first night an M7.1 earthquake shook the whole Bali area. Staff responded immediately in the middle of the night, they kept on assuring people that everything was fine, that there was no tsunami alert etc. It just made us feel safe for the rest of our stay in the hotel. We were assigned parking places for our rented motorbikes charge-free and the parking area was looked after 24/7. Staff were friendly, helpful and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast included with the room rate was phenomenal! I've never eaten such a good food in hotel restaurant. Also try their draft beer and coffee they're serving in their hotel bar. There are a lot of restaurants in the hotel area, but the best one is directly in the hotel itself. I am already planning my second stay in this hotel. A huge thank you to the whole staff for making my family comfortable!

I loved the spaciousness of my room with separate large bathroom, lounge and study area. I loved the staff who were so friendly and kind 🌹And I really loved the buffet breakfast which was FABULOUS!!! So many options and wonderful food ❣️ I loved the art and beauty of the interior of the motel and the amenities and was deeply impressed with their efforts to reduce plastic waste from water bottles. And I loved meeting real Indonesians from all over Indonesia and learning a little about their lives and culture.

The property is well located, close to the beach without the beach price. Breakfast had a great choice. Our room, a suite, was large giving us lots of room to move around. The staff were already great, but when my husband got sick, they went above and beyond, checking in on us and offering to organise bland meals from the restaurant.m for him.

This is my 6th visit to Sanur since 2009, and it's sad to...

This is my 6th visit to Sanur since 2009, and it's sad to see its current state; it's really rundown. The saving grace for me is all the wonderful places to eat, and the beach is decent for walks or biking (you can go a fair ways). Sanur is great for a few weeks max if you're alright with a little bit of chaos; beyond that, it gets a bit much (we were there for almost three weeks).

The city can be busy, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find colorful shops, friendly locals, and a lot of interesting cultural spots like temples and museums. The food is amazing—whether you try street food or dine in restaurants, everything feels full of flavor and tradition.

I went to a restaurant: WARUNG KLUMPU DENPASAR very close to the hotel. They had excellent atmosphere good food and if I stayed longer I would have come back. So please try and experience it yourself!

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

sanur is great - it has a mixture of great resorts and local activities. Plenty of places to walk along the beach front or along nearby. However the beaches look very pretty but the ocean for swimming is not good.

I loved the natural weave of traffic, the kindness and respect of the Balinese people, and how hardworking they are. So much to offer, for all budgets. I have yet to discover more of Denpaser on my next visit.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.

Kopi Kiosk was a 5minute walk away down Jasmin Gang/lane. Hardies supermarket was next door to the Kiosk for grocery supplies and souvenirs and clothing. I always recommend Sanur to people heading to Bali for a first trip or tenth trip.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. If you are after a unique Balinese experience without wall to wall tourists, do a little research and you may find that Denpasar has a lot to offer.
