We love Kelong Trikora! It's an amazing place, my husband (Indian Singaporean) and I (German) spent 4 days there over Chinese New Year. The team there, especially Linda and Eric, set a new standard to customer service! They are so deeply caring for each guest, it's touching. When it rained they placed an umbrella outside of every villa, so that guest wouldn't get wet on their way to dinner, when we wanted to go on a trip and the hotel driver was unavailable Linda called several taxi companies and in the end offered to drive us with the staff car, even when the fan did not immediately work three people showed up and got it fixed within 10mins. Kelong Trikora is a very quiet resort with a beautiful pool and 10 separate huts. The cuisine is out of this world, even though the menu is a bit limited (focus on Indonesian and Chinese), so many of the dishes were simply the best (can recommend the fish curry, the sotong bakar, the kailan and kangkong and as daily special chicken satay, each main about 180K, veggies 75-90K). It takes about an hour from the ferry terminal Bandar Bintan Telani (Lagoi) and from the resort we went to the blue lakes and sand dunes (1hr drive, absolutely worth it!). We tried the restaurants in the two resorts next to this and got utterly disappointed, food was horrible and the service even worse, so we would next time just stick to the resort kitchen. All the staff is very nice and chitchatty if you're open to it, but not forcing conversations upon anybody. For my husband's birthday I asked them to please help me get a chocolate cake and they got a super cute beautiful cake for me. The only thing to keep in mind is that you're dependant on the hotel's transport (so plan a bit in advance and let them know) and that during low tide the water draws back about 1km, so not really for swimming in the sea, but the pool is amazing and the whole area is covered in nice fluffy green grass, so nice to walk around barefoot.

Was really amazed with the hospitality from Turi Beach Resort. Excellent location. The resort is huge and got a natural vibes. One can see lush greens and it's open to natural habitats like moneys and different kinds of birds. Once in Batam must try Turi Beach Resort. Breath taking views from the room or should I say cottage. One can get clear, undisturbed views from the balcony.   Unwind and relaxing environment over all. Breakfast spread was great, it had both local and international cuisines to choose from. Dinner had an ala carte menu to choose from and it did git varities. Special mention to Lely, Yusuf and Lady from the front office department. They were exceptionally helpful and kind. Always helped in all possible ways. They were so accommodating and kind enough to allow me for an early check-in. Kudous to the team. Extremely professional and always welcoming with a smile. Thank you so much Turi Beach Resort for making our stay amazing. I will definitely be back soon to let loose myself with the beauty and relaxing nature. Thank you Turi for your warm hospitality.

Lagoi is a great getaway place, and only an hour by ferry from Singapore. A wide variety of accommodation and many places to eat. We also went to the sand dunes and 'Blue lake' at Telaga Biru/Gurun Pasir Bintan.

Nearby Nongsa beach but the beach is not clean.. the villa house we stay is just nice for a group of 6. But the house seems not been occupied for long, as it smells once you enter, the floor also not so clean. The aircon is not cold

TP is not really a tourist place.

TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control. Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

Plenty of cafes to choose from & great restaurants nearby on the waterfront. Excelor cafe good for breakfast. ‘See sea’ restaurant good for dinner & Malaysian restaurant also good for dinner in the mall.

Nice chill getaway from bustling Singapore on a budget. It's a very commercial town with not many things to do. Great food, great people, beautiful sights and some light hikes. Not great for beaches though. If you do decide to have a dip, take note that many people there are very conservative in dress-wise. I wouldn't recommend a bikini.

It was a very relaxing trip.

It was a very relaxing trip. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzi in our room which faces the sea. We also enjoyed the snorkeling trip, the staff who went with us helped us to take pictures underwater. The equipment provided was safe and also adequate. The whole resort feels tranquil. Would be better if there is a gym.
