Super friendly and helpful staff. Offered a shuttle service to/from the airport. Rooms (I stayed here twice) were large, and have a small kitchenette, which was very useful. Close to the airport, and only a short ojek ride to the port, which is all you need in Sorong.

Great sea, sky and nature. Sea is cristal clear emerald green with so many tropical colour fishes, millions of star is shining in the sky in the night, and firefly decorated the tree around beach front bangalow after sunset. So many varieties of attraction for package tour with schunokeling. Delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner with kind attention for serving. Only one problem is hard to leave after check out. I wish I had words to describe this place, this accommodation, the people we found and met here! But I don't know if I will succeed, because, without a doubt, it was the most beautiful place where we have been in our entire life so far, as experienced travelers! What I felt when I arrived here cannot be described in words - I can try to say that I found Paradise on Earth!A small island, four bungalows, two on the beach, two on the water, dream views, the music of the ocean and the orchestra of jungle birds, underwater creatures of all shapes and colors right under the bungalows, a rich, fresh, young, clean reef, toilets and private shower, perfectly balanced food, fresh, unrepeatable, tasty, electric cleaner all the time provided by solar panels, wi-fi, and above all a team of wonderful people! The owner, Mr. Andy, loves this place and it shows in every thing he touches, in all the stories he tells you (if you ask him!). An extremely pleasant company, the silent partner of the team! The soul and heart of this place is Moana=Vayana, as I called it the first moment I saw it! She is Miss Esny, as I call her or Mantaray;s Queen (no one feels them and finds how she does it). She is a total joy from morning to night, a man who loves nature, who is ready to go in an adventure, whether it's the same or a new one, never forget to enjoy it, to protect you, to guide you, to help you know, to see, to feel the ocean and its wonders! We won a truly unique experience, a friendship for life, with a lot of admiration, respect, the desire for good and to return! Come here and you won't regret it for a minute - everything you read is true and more!Thank you !

Clean and comfortable accommodation with en-suite bathroom, AC and ceiling fan, and good quality mosquito nets. AMAZING snorkelling right off the jetty… the variety and abundance of coral and sea life along their house reef was just spectacular. Well maintained grounds. Great beach getaway atmosphere and good food. Friendly helpful staff, onsite dive shop and reasonable prices for equipment rental. Reliable speedboat transfer back to ferry terminal in Waisai.

Compared to the prices n other hotels in Sorong, it was nice, clean with good breakfast. The location is awful like the whole of Sorong. Do not leave the hotel! There is nothing to see. The airport is 500 meters away but they charge you 100.ooo rupias.

Fabulous coral reef right in front of cabin. Good food, but basic and no choice. Nice staff. The deck outside the cabin overlooking the beach and ocean was great. Loved having the chairs, table and hammock.

Stay in Sorong is of course the best way to reach Raja Ampat without being in a hurry, but it is also possible to organize day trips for birdwatching or just for exploring the surrounding area; i.e.. we visited Batu Lobang Pantai, a nice place to spend time.

Abundance of marine life, slow pace.

Abundance of marine life, slow pace. I’d recommend bringing a snorkel vest for Raja Ampat for visibility to boats and safety just in case caught in a current. Snorkeling here was just about as good as the diving in the area was. Recommend bringing a flashlight when traveling here. I had no problems with mosquitoes; nevertheless, I used the mosquito net every night. I recommend going to see the GIANT turtles about 20 minutes away by boat. There was a lot to do here honestly—-even if I just floated around the house reef.

My tip for future guests would be not to overlook the reef right in front of the lodge. While there are many well-documented and incredible reefs to explore by boat, the house reef is just as beautiful and incredibly pristine. One of the best experiences is waking up with the sunrise and the sound of the waves, then simply stepping into the water from your lodge for an early-morning snorkel before breakfast. Making this part of your daily routine allows you to truly slow down and appreciate the surroundings. Places like this are becoming increasingly rare, and being able to experience such untouched nature felt like an absolute privilege.

The staffs are friendly, the excursion, day trip price is reasonable, foods are full board, meals are great with variety of fish, meat and vegetables, fruits. Location is great and close to most attractions dive, snorkeling spots. The house reef is ok and easy to swim when high tide. Bungalow is huge with 2 stories and can easily accommodate 4-5 people, love the terrace, it’s spacious and spectacular view, we can spend all day on the terrace, lots of fishes to spot like baby shark, walking shark and some beauty bird

Good idea to bring your own snacks. Travel torch handy. Natural sunblock and sunscreen. Your own snorkeling equipment. Packet of travel wipes, for face and hands. Remember to drink plenty of water, homestay has a dispenser in the room. All boat trips from homestay extra cost, Yeabuba Jetty a great snorkeling spot.

It was a long boat ride from Sorong.

It was a long boat ride from Sorong. About half way there it got very rough and the speed boat didn't reduce the speed, creating very uncomfortable and violent slams as the boat dropped 3 to 4 feet and hit the water hard. I don't recommend this trip for anyone with a bad back.

Sorong is the entry point to exploring Raja Ampat. Unfortunately its town does not match the beauty or cleanliness of what the region has to offer. It is a poor town with limited facilities and attractions. Not a place to stay for a long time.

i spent 3 weeks on kri , so i cant compare to other islands except Arborek (kri reef far superior). other travelers say kri next best to Pam (Fam) for reef quality. you can walk the whole island on the beach at low tide except the southeast quadrant where there are no homestays. you can also walk to neighboring Mansuar Island at low tide; i snorkeled there twice - the reef extends all the way between islands - but it is at least a kilometer and maybe a bit far for most people. no stores of any kind on kri; Mansuar has a small shop at Yenbuba (not to be confused with Yenbuba Homestay on Kri) wher yu can buy sodas, bandaids, insect repellent, toothpaste, sweets. hike up the trail on a clear day to the top of the mountain where there is a good view of the west half of the island

The trash in the water was disappointing and considering we are paying marine pass and diving fees it’s disappointing to not see any effort to be cleaning the seas or collection of the amount of trash. There are also no dedicated trails to explore the island and again, fees should be used to create this feature to enhance the visitor experience. There should also be dedicated transport services to the islands thus eliminating fluctuating and at times expensive transport to waisai or sorong

Listening to our host's recommendations for places to see and what to do. We didnt follow a pre-scheduled list from online sources. We let local knowledge be our guides. This enhanced our experience. Embrace the food. Its tasty, its home cooked. Its local catch of the day, locally sourced fruits and vegetables. On one tour, Paulus our host pulled up to a boat and bought a fish. On our plates that evening!
