The facilities were beautiful - wonderful garden in the back and a lovely view out front. Staff was nice, room was spacious and elegant. In-house dog was a real treat.

The location is amazing, nestle in a cove by the fjords is an idyllic setting. Service, food, people very friendly and welcoming, the best thing for me was the peat fire burning In guests areas and the lobby.

The staff were very generous and kind and we had everything needed for our stay and we really appreciated the small details like the coffee stand and water bottles in the room. The hotel is very cosy and clean, great for a get away with your couple.

We stayed here for just one night after a day of trekking in Connemara. A lovely cosy little hotel in the centre of Clifden which offered everything we needed - friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast and a central location thanks we could choose which pub in Clifden to have a beer and listen to live music on a Saturday night. Excellent breakfast included in the price in three options - Irish classic breakfast, Irish vegetarian breakfast and continental breakfast.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Screebe House offers accommodation in Rosmuck, 36 km from Galway.

We particularly liked the dining room and the view. We own the Fastnet Hotel in Schull in West Cork (Instagram thefastnet1) and we are very honoured to having been ranked number one in Ireland by the Irish Examiners Travel editor’s choice: Tom Breathnach's top 10 stays of 2023. We have sent several of our guests to Screebe House and they have not been disappointed.

On the site of the former Clifden Railway Station, Clifden Station House offers well-appointed bedrooms and self-catering apartments. There is a pool and Connemara National Park is a 15-minute drive.
