- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 578 reviewsThe family suite was perfect with its terrace and picturesque views, not to mention direct access to the tennis court. It had a nespresso machine (capsules), tea-making facilities and a large bottle of water in the fridge daily. It also had a large smart TV with Netflix, YouTube, etc. Great wifi connection. The Staff were very welcoming, smiling, helpful and discreet. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had! Top marks for the food and its beautiful presentation in general! Excellent location; 10 mins from Cliften and close to Roundstone, Kylemore Abbey, the 12 Bens/Pins, Inisbofin and Omey islands and several beautiful beaches such as Mannin Bay Blueway Beach, Gurteen Beach and Dog's Bay (Roundstone). The hotel beach is breath-taking - we spent our mornings there looking for all kinds of shells, crabs, jellyfish, etc. We all loved it! We used the Spa and the Sauna which was overlooking the beach/sea. It's a perfect hotel for a family, romantic getaway or for a break away from the stress of life. You are bathed in peace, quiet, nature and tranquillity!Guest review byAngelaBelgium
- From US$161.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 915 reviewsThe staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was superb if you're looking for an outdoors vibe. The breakfast was wonderful. We're not luxury resort seekers. This hotel had a family friendly resort vibe which we liked. We don't have small children but loved seeing a playground. It's nice to see children not looking at a screen. The area has much to offer for families to do outdoor activities without spending a fortune. Silver strand beach was excellent with beautiful white sand.Guest review bySCHWARZUnited States
- From US$90.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 3,196 reviewsI live in the area and have enjoyed dinner here before, but stayed for a number of nights recently due to service failures at my residence during Storm Bert. The hotel is lovely and comfortable; especially the residents’ lounge. The staff are stellar and made our stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. Will stay again just for fun.Guest review byLauraUnited States

This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while.
This is just the loveliest place to visit and stay a while. The tourist office will guide you to great things to do! Guys on the Main Street is a good choice for eating. There are many restaurants to choice from. It’s easy to walk around the town and window shop. And if you can visit whilst the arts festival is on, that’s even better! You’ll want to return…Guest review byAnonymous - 10
Really good value.
Really good value. Great location for exploring beautiful area. The dorm is really low priced but clean and comfy with room to store possessions. Kitchen rather under-equipped especially in terms of saucepan provision.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom - 10

Great little town, friendly and welcoming. Lots of history, beautiful park and marked walk around the town. Free parking with plenty of space. Grocery store, butchers coffee shops, gas station, selection of great pubs and souvenir shops amongst others in the high street. Super little place.Guest review byLorraineCanada - 10

It is a beautiful village on what feels like the edge of the world, surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful nature colours in a perfect setting. Perfect for group, family or solo trips. Great variety of pubs and eating choices in Roundstone village itself. I will be back for another visit and I will recommend to my friends too. Its a long drive over from Dublin but 100% worth itGuest review byAdrienneIreland - 10

Renvyle is a really nice place to stay, with space to take time on-premises, but also in the heart of Connemara from which to explore the beaches, towns and countryside. The staff are very helpful and the hotel provides good food in both the pub and restaurant.Guest review byRayIreland - 10
Very small location, but very picturesque.
Very small location, but very picturesque. Ideally located to explore the surrounding area, including Clifden and Connemara National Park. Due to size of location only a small amount of local amenities but still very good quality.Guest review byRoisinUnited Kingdom - 10
Loved Bun An Coirin. Quiet, peaceful and close to walks.
Loved Bun An Coirin. Quiet, peaceful and close to walks. This was a self catering cottage . We loved making our own meals. There was a lovely little bakery where we bought a selection of breads, all very yummy. We found a couple of nice cafes in Cong, not too far from Clonbur that served delicious coffee and scones. There is an easy walk from Chonbur to Cong.Guest review byCollette - 8.0

Located in a cute little town, with a FANTABULOUS bakery...reminded us of the former quaint Door County,USA. So good to be able to shop small, independently run/owned shops. Walshes Bakery and the Little Tin Shop were highlights. Also enjoyed dinner (MUSSELS) at Mannion's. Unfortunately, due to weather and schedule, we were unable to explore further. If not so far away, would definielty visit again!Guest review byAnonymous
