The late-duty staff were exceptionally helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The strong water pressure in the bathroom made for a very relaxing bath. The location was also ideal—close to the Aircoach bus stop, with a mini supermarket, a pub/restaurant, and the Print Museum all nearby. Bus stop in front direct to city.

The room (Macleese suite) was amazingly quiet with beautiful views of the course. The room was spotless, lovely Elemis toiletries and great coffee/tea facilities. The hotel even has a “pillow menu” so we were able to get the exact pillows we needed for an amazing night’s sleep on a giant and very comfortable bed. All the staff at all times made us feel valued and welcome. The leisure facilities were great - I even joined a Pilates class! The restaurants were top class and the breakfast divine with a great choice.

Great place to visit and check off a bucket list.

Great place to visit and check off a bucket list. Interesting history. 3 days was plenty to see the city of Dublin, however if you want to see other city/towns of Ireland, you could definitely stay longer. Must book for dinner on weekends as restaurants get booked out and pubs get completely packed like sardines, standing room only. Not a lot open early in the morning.

This was our second time to stay, unfortunately both times we arrived at 11:30 pm on a late flight into Dublin and only stayed the night. I think as we arrived so late we should have been allowed to check out late, also I don't know why we had a double and a single bed as there was only the two of us booked in. The hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to choose from.

Dun Laoghaire is a hip spot away from the huddle of the city Center. Great walking on the pier, waterfront and through the village. Some lovely restaurants and coffee shops . Breakfast at the Vanilla bean was lovely. The famous Forty Ft swimming spot is a short walk. Lots of quaint shops and vintage secondhand stores scattered along the Main Street . Good public transport on busses , trains and taxis . Aircoach to Dublin Airport from Marine rd opp City Hall. Market in the Peoples park is well worth a visit if you’re there over the weekend. Childrens fun fair on the waterfront runs daily from 12 noon till 7 pm . €3/ ride.

It has a fantastic shopping centre with various food venues but are only a very small number of it closes at 9pm. Booking dinner the restaurant to find I was second to a wedding party. Shouldn't I have been informed of this at check-in? Another quibble ... I stayed in the Clayton Liffey and left a bag of books in reception. I called in the hotel 10 days. I was informed at reception that I'd be texted/messaged the next with the status of my loss. I still haven't been informed. Subsequently I mentioned this to reception at Clayton Leopardstown giving relevant details. Reception said they would contact me. They didn't.
