It was a glorious haven in Limerick. The breakfast was superb, the bar cosy and the staff attentive. The room was divine and I’m sorry that I didn’t have more than two nights to enjoy my stay. Oh, and the spa! Blissful.

The service from everyone from start to finish on our trip was the best I have ever had. in particular, Emer the guest services manager & Victoria in the restaurant went above and beyond anything we could have asked for. I have stayed at many hotels in the world and this is the best service I have ever had. Jennifer was accommodating in the restaurant also. 10/10 I cannot fault the service. aside from that, the food was great and well priced. The petting zoo was a hit for our children. despite the non stop rain, this hotel was a highlight of our trip! I would visit Limerick again just to stay there!

Limerick is a city of great historical interest including the medieval castle and the Georgian city centre. Beautifully located on the River Shannon, we enjoyed walking along the river, the parks and city streets. Plenty of great bars, especially Nancy's and Locke's, and restaurants, especially Enzo's. The Hunt Museum is a prime cultural centre.

New Castle West is not very interesting...

New Castle West is not very interesting... We spent one night on our way to the Cliffs of Moher and in retrospect I wish we had driven further. The hotel is kinda old, the bathroom felt like an hospital bathroom. No mini bar or fridge in the room. Very spacious room with spare furniture - they had the room to add a cabinet with fridge... Breakfast was good tho.

Very friendly people who gave us lots of information about walking and even dropped us carless women at the start of the walk in Ballyhoura and collected us without charging us anything. All the archeological sites and beautiful churches were a unexpected bonus.

Croagh is a lovely small village and enhanced by the lodge garden centre and restaurant. great place to stop over for breakfast, snacks and drinks. Fantastic garden shop and garden centre. Incredible friendly and helpful staff (mainly family run). There are two wo pubs in village (no food). About 6 kilometers east,on N21 is the most amazing village of Adare. Its got everything, shops, bars , restaurants, and hotels, churches. its probable the pettiest village I have ever visited in this area.

The Farm Escape is a beautiful stay in the Irish Countryside...

The Farm Escape is a beautiful stay in the Irish Countryside. You won't find a lot of hustle and bustle, but Ann and William excel at providing your basic amenities and comfort. The views from our room and the property were truly stunning. We really enjoyed visiting the animals and walking the farm. Our visit was during the Halloween season and they had the cutest pumpkin patch to visit. Ballyorgan is a little off the beaten path, so I do recommend scouting out places to eat in the neighboring towns. Kilmallock was one of our favorite visits and we explored the Abbey on Ann's recommendation. There is so much history around every corner in Ireland. Dinner in Charleville was delicious but I do recommend making reservations. For adventures and nature lovers you must visit Lough Gur. This was our favorite stay during our trip to Ireland, you will not regret Ballyhoura Farm Escape.

We were just passing through Limerick, but I noted a few key points: in the evening it is difficult to have dinner after 9 PM, so you have to settle for fast food. Also, it seemed to me that Limerick is less beautiful than other Irish cities, even though it is located on the River Shannon.

Tourists can't enter Adare Manor unless they stay overnights or dine at two different restaurants. We booked breakfasts and then walked around to enjoy the beautiful scenery and atmosphere inside. It was a fantastic morning in Adare.

We came to visit family.

We came to visit family. The hotel is so convenient to everything. NCW is a great base for touring around - Tralee and Killarney not far one way and Adare and Limerick the other. There is a bus stop outside the hotel to get you to either of them. People are nice and friendly here but town needs a bit of livening up. Many empty buildings. Lovely boutiques and some lovely small individual shops there. We had fish & chips in the square very nice and coffee in a little coffee shop in a mall.
