One of the best hotel we have stayed in in India. Very nice clean rooms and bathrooms, strong internet, hot water, perfect AC and fantastic staff- boys and wonderful girl at the reception. I have had the pleasure to stay in this facility for 3 days. I booked it because it was close to my place of interest, because it had good reviews and because the pictures looked pretty. Little did I know how much I underestimated this resort! The combination of tranquility, breathtaking views from your "room", the omnipresent luxury, selection of superb activities, the cuisine, the actual living forest all around you and overall hospitality and service simply cannot be described by words. One must experience it first-hand to fully appreciate this gem of a property. This property is situated literally inside a functioning coffee plantation, where you can explore the coffee making process from blossom to brewing (and roast / grind coffee beans yourself!). That is only one of the few exceptional activities offered, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The plantation is huge, and so is the resort itself. So of course they drive you with a buggy, whenever you are not in a mood for a little walk. Your "room" is actually a cottage, suspended above tree foliage, with a sense of complete privacy, even though a next cottage is nearby. The view has depth which can only be experienced by the seashore, or at high altitude. The connection to nature is taken very seriously here, and can also be felt intensely everywhere - whether you are relaxing on the terrace of your cottage, or walking to the pool and spa, or just having dinner. Talking about dining. The selection and variety of meals is astonishing, and so is the flavor. The whole dining experience is wonderful - the taste, the drinks & cocktails, the fact that you are actually dining above the waterfall, prompt and kind service offered by every staff member (waiters and managers alike). I would especially like to spotlight Mr.Bishu, who was serving us for the duration of our stay. He was always professional, very kind, attentive to all our needs, and so polite. Gokarna is a real surprise.

Gokarna is a real surprise. People are very friendly, the town is fascinating with all its temples, cows, dogs and pilgrims. I enjoyed it so much more than Hampi which I thought was crowded, dirty and full of hassle. Gokarna people are polite and welcoming. Apart from the town it has some nice beaches, even Main beach is good once you walk away from the town. We arrived at the weekend on the day before a very big ceremony. It was very busy, but such a spectacle, and wonderful to see. Genuine people and a very spiritual place.

Historical Place which still retains an old world charm. Most people are helpful. The guides are very knowledgeable and can speak atleast three languages. Costs are also not high in comparison to other tourist places

Clean city, hub for educational institutions. Affordable medicare. Rash driving of transport busses. Connectivity is good but city bus travel feels like adventure trip. Auto rickshaws are plenty and available in all corners of city. Food choices are many. Fish meals are great and very Affordable.

Our group enjoyed the stay of three nights at Memories of Malnad. The climate was just right and we could visit most of the scenic places and waterfalls. The famous Sringeri and Annapoorneshwari temples though are little away. The mullyangiri peak view from our room and the sunrise was really awesome. On the food front, the complimentary breakfast was relishing. I feel the dinner menu though can be expanded a little.
