Moldova24-hour desk is great to have; the host was so helpful in getting us checked in and showing where's what. Being tired and sleep-deprived after a long travel, and arriving in the middle of the night, it sure was welcome. All the facilities are clean and well planned out. The bed is very comfortable. The whole place is very clean and feels very safe. I would definitely recommend for a solo female traveler.

The welcome at the check-in desk was nice. The staff there (on both days) were knowledgeable and very helpful. Really appreciate the good staff in this hotel in general. The room (triple) was not particularly new but it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Rooms at the front have a nice harbour view. Everything worked perfectly in the room, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean and functional. Lots of hot water quickly on tap and a large towel warmer in the room. A kettle was provided in the room I had, but no hair dryer.
Breakfast was just fine - the selection was not large, but the food was of good quality. Except the orange juice (watery) and the coffee (not to my taste).
The location was about 15 minutes out of town. There was a supermarket just a hundred metres down the road with a wide selection of groceries, and several restaurants nearby, although it is highly recommended to walk into town for eating.
The free hotel WiFi for me was good, but strangely my wife had problems with her phone getting disconnected every couple of minutes. The hotel parking was convenient, and free.

We stayed at this hotel and were absolutely delighted. The room was cozy and clean, and the view from the window was simply breathtaking — it was a joy to start the day with such a beautiful scene.
Special thanks to the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. They responded quickly and warmly to any questions or requests, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay.
The breakfast also deserves a special mention — it was varied, delicious, and made even more enjoyable by the stunning view. This is definitely a place we would love to return to. Highly recommended!

Staying in this hotel was a really pleasant experience.
I can say that everything from the room, staff, breakfast and the spa service that was included in our reservation.
We loved the small hot pools, one inside and the other outside.
Great location too, close to the city center.

Nearby Reykjavik, but real close to the beginning of the golden ring. Not so much light, so I think Auroras could be easily seen (though I didn´t have the chance)

Excellent location in the city center. We had a car and not expensive parking spaces were easy to be found pretty near the hotel. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Early breakfast was offered when we had to leave early to the airport.

There was much to see in this little capital.
There was much to see in this little capital. We particularly liked the visit to the Harpa Music Hall on the harbour front. There were places to eat within easy walking distance of our accommodation. Reykjavik is a good base if you want to explore the golden circle too.

Hafnarfjorthur was between Keflavic and Reykjavik making it quite handy and more affordable to stay at. We rented a car to tour the Golden Circle, enjoy the Blue Lagoon, and sightsee in Reykjavik and felt that was a good choice. We didn't sightsee in Hafnarfjorthur.

Great location if you are looking for accommodation as part of planning to do the Golden Circle. Circa 40-45 minute drive to Thinvellir. Grocery store nearby (sells good quality sushi) however only a few eating out options.

ive already answered these questions twice. we paid for a superior room and got one. Neighborhood is out of the way but has great views and animals and is near the road to Costco. we spent 2 weeks driving the entire island and enjoyed it. This place has a theme tastefully done and modern amenities.The Viking Hotel restaurant where you check -in has a nice themed restaurant good food and service.

This is one of ,,those,, accommodations where you want to spend the night after a week full of traveling. It is clear that the owner has a sense of detail and quality. You can feel the quality on the materials and furnishings, the equipment of the entire apartment and the services that are here. Everything is still new, clean. Situated in a quiet location. We slept very well! Parking in front of the entrance, Accessibility anywhere is perfect. Since it is new here, the accommodation does not have any review and even though I usually do not write reviews, I think this one deserves one. For the price, it is exclusive accommodation and we will definitely come back here.

A fabulous city to visit , lots of interesting places to visit . We were very lucky to have a beautiful weather week & saw the Aurora too .
A visit to Blue Lagoon is a must.
Lots of excellent places to eat & loads do happy hour for a drink .

We are use to very large rooms with kitchens in our hotel room. While we vacationed in Iceland we stayed at VRBO’s but we saw this unique hotel and had to stay here and experience it!
Loved walking around the hotel and the use of hot tub and sauna !!!

Hlid Fisherman's Village had lots of "viking" character with some very interesting maritime realia, close proximity to Icelandic horses, heritage chickens, a koi pond, cedar sauna and two rooftop hot tubs. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view was to the sea.
