Czech RepublicExcelent services, very nice rooms in the new part of the hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms large enough for several days stay. There was a nice outside swimming pool with two hot baths nearby. The staff was very heplful and pleasant. The breakfast was rich and good. There was a small problem with suplying of the breakfast on our first day around 9 am. Probably we came just after some large group had left and there was a lot of old dishes on the tables, almost no new food, no clean dishes and also no sfaff for a few minutes. But it was sorted soon and everything went perfectly then. We liked the place near the hot springs and also quite close to the main road. Despite of that the place was quiet even during the nights.

Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. Centre of Fludir has grocery store, a gas station and 2 hotels - all four located very closely across the street. So we could get full tank of gadoline to drive further and wr had really good breakfast in hotel, but for the evening got some food in the shop. I only stayed for one night and I didn't get to use the kitchen but I could have stayed longer. Lovely kitchen and shared space with a fabulous view across the fields and to the Geyser so close. Geyser area is a popular stop in Iceland. Although I was skeptical of a hotel, located at a tourist, attraction, the hotel impressed us. The facility was new. The restaurant was top notch. What I liked most was the location and the cottage itself. It was in fantastic conditions and modern styled which made it feel very luxury. We ate at the restaurant which has the same owner as the cottages, and though it was a great selection of food - it was not the best for me who's gluten intolerant. The small town is founded around the hot springs - there was a geothermal park in the centre where you can boil an egg in the hot spring and eat delicious rye bread cooked in geothermal steam.
