We were very satisfied with the hotel. It had a beautiful design. Even the shower corner was tiled so well that no water leaked into the bathroom! The stunning views of the lake with grazing sheep complemented this beautiful hotel design. The staff was very friendly, and we especially appreciated the excellent chef – the food was truly delicious

Best hotel this year (39 nights in 2025 including the Maldives) Excellent and friendly staff, great restaurant and bar food. Could not do enough to help, even waking me up at night for the northern lights. Hot tub a must.

Very good location,room is big and brefast is good! From the restaurant you can see the cows 😄,we had dinner there and was very delicious!in the evening we saw the northern lights outside our room ! Fantastic 😊

Everything was perfect! The attention to detail is impressive, you will be amazed with everything the hosts have hand crafted. It was without a doubt one of the best experiences we’ve had in Iceland and my brother even said it has been the best accommodation he’s ever stayed in (and he travels a lot!). The communication was very good and clear.

Very nice Room witg everything what we needed. There was local pool with whirlpool also for a good price in the town.
