Liked everything, the building is beautiful, the view is amazing, the room is spacious, the breakfast is really good and various, the place even has amazon prime and netflix which is a big plus when the weather is not compliant (happens more than we would like), had to go through the worst storm to get to this place, but happy we did so.

The room was amazing, clean, nicely decorated. Outside you can see huge glacier, backyard is dark and quiet, so if you are lucky, the northern light show will be unreal.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but there was waffles with wipped cream and good coffe machine! All in all, it was really nice place to stay.

Very nice guesthouse, located 40 min from Diamond beach and Glietcher lagoon. Ideal for one night stay.
Our room was spacious, worm and with nice views.
The breakfast is rich and delicious.
If you don’t arrive late you can have a dinner- the lamb from their farm was soo delicious.

The easiness of the welcoming/check-in. We informed we would arrive late and there was no problem at all. The hostel is super cozy, beautifully decorated, with some free food and coffee. Also, the location is amazing, 10/15 minutes away from the glacier lagoon

an oasis of life in the middle of nature. Friendly and helpful staff, not only informed about the local rules, but also gave a lot of advice about the condition of the hike and the surrounding roads. Thermal baths are a great way to relax. Thank you!

The waters and views of the glaciers viewed from a far are beautiful. Also some of the little food places reflect the cosiness of a working port. Quaint working port village. Worth a stop or basing yourself there to visit the surrounding geography.

We loved how cozy this house was.
We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so much

The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly.
Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental.
Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

The guesthouse gave a accurate description of the area so we knew what services were there and not there and could plan ahead. We loved walking around and the sights and hikes that were nearby. It was so easy to get to the Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, and we could go back to see them at night too. The hosts had many recommendations for what to do and it definitely enhanced our trip!

Room okay for one night but unfortunately a little overpriced. The buffet style breakfast is very basic and offers little to none options for dietary needs.
The sound from adjacent rooms is quite audible due to the house's age and poor acoustics.
Nice views and surroundings though.

We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. The bedding was very nice and the kitchen perfectly stocked with dishes. The playground was fun. The office sells some camping supplies. There are not enough showers, only one for each gender. The kitchen/cooking area is bare bones. There are some nice tables inside. The staff was very helpful and kind.

Absolutely loved the variety of fresh, farm to table offerings, and homemade breads at breakfast. Dinner menu was extensive, meals were delicious. Enjoyed seeing the sea birds, and sheep in the pasture. Views of mountain and bay/ ocean were great. Very close to Glacier Bay and Diamond Beach. Peaceful. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend and will return when I come back to Iceland.

If you want to really see Iceland stay on a farm. This one was great. Guests stay in an old farmhouse. The owners make themselves available to answer questions. There was a communal kitchen with a stove and refrigerator. Very helpful since we were traveling on a budget.

Hofn is great, quiet and cosy, but I believe that staying in the nearby villages is even more comfy. The town has a few great restaurants, a really wonderful little pool with hot tubs. Weather permitting, it has a great view on the Vestrahorn mountains + some nice shoreline walking paths.
