This place is so special, i am so glad we stayed here. If you are looking for a cosy warm feeling in a historical building (complete with creaky floors and small rooms) then you'll love it here. Its like being in a fairytale. Also have to give a shout out to the staff, they are the perfect mix of friendly and professional in such a warm way that you feel like you're welcomed into their home. Definitely leaving our stay with a strong pull to come back. If you're into modern features, minimalist design and generally luxury hotels, you should consider looking elsewhere - there are enough of those accommodations around too.

We had half board and the meals were by far the best of our holiday. On our first night we were given free wine tasting with local produce. Our room in the annexe was exceptionally large and clean with an amazing panoramic view from the balcony. Parking was free right outside the hotel with the option of garage parking. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially our waitress at breakfast and dinner.

The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning! The heated outdoor pool overlooking the mountains and vast greenery feels almost surreal. Our room was spacious, the beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety. Dinner was also of really good quality. The staff were all very helpful, especially the lady manager who gave us great tips for a morning hike in the area. She was incredibly kind when we couldn’t find our car keys, and the reception staff even called the rental companies to help us figure out a backup plan. Thankfully, a kind soul found our keys and brought them to us—with the help of the local police! What a wonderful surprise in Italy. My husband and I truly loved this hotel and had such a memorable stay. Highly recommend—and we’d definitely come back again!

We were greeted with a very warm welcome at reception. The hotel is super clean, our room was beautiful and big, with a balcony that had a stunning view of the mountains. I chose the hotel for the location, views and the wellness centre and it didn’t disappoint. The wellness centre was perfect just what we needed after long days on the mountains, I even managed to fit in a lovely massage. The sky terrace has the best views, best place to relax. The food was really good with a buffet every evening before the courses began. The staff were all really friendly. Will be back for sure

Staff treatment was exceptional! Went above and beyond with advises and services. Supplied us with extra food when we asked and packed us breakfast as we departed to the airport early, Hotel location and services are ideal for ski vacation in the area, Room was excellent as we needed to cook (with electric stove and not a conductive one) as well as fridge. Pool and SPA are just right to complete the experience. Thanks so much!

If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian food

Clean hotel . Nice pool . Shuttle bus to ski lifts . Middle of nowhere .. no nice town . Drive too hard to get to cortina really . Got ripped off at this hotel as new year . Then they closed dinner off for us on New Year’s Eve unless we paid £190 euros each for a special meal. A bit money grabbing . But nice place . Wouldn’t reccomend for position if you want to have a nice town to visit nearby.

Colfosco is great for the views.

Colfosco is great for the views. Amazing if you stay in a place with a view of the mountains. Limited restaurant options. Blackhill was our favorite. The market in Corvara was better for groceries. The town is a good base for driving to some of the most popular hikes in the Dolomites. While my dad called it Cold-fosco, because we seemed to be getting more wind than some other towns in nearby valleys, It is also true that we had a pretty cold September all over the area.

I did not really explore the locale ... struck me as not a huge amount to do - but I was very happy with the facilities at the Hotel Melodia. Lots of varied skiing - a car makes things very much easier than having to rely on local shuttles.

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a...

La Villa is a relatively small town near Corvara which is a well known large town. It is beautiful everything is slightly cheaper than Corvara and not so busy. The views are picturesque the restaurants are great and it’s not too far from passo Pordoi etc We recommend going in June or July before the chaos of August. It’s our favourite place to go and we will be returning.

La Vall is a good destination for vacations, but it is not a good choice for skiing because it is far from the ski lift and the ski bus does not go very often, so the journey to the ski lift takes a long time.

Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area.

Corvara is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is much higher and cooler than Bolzano. It is much smaller and easier to navigate than Cortina. It has access to very easy alpine meadow trails and more challenging rocky places above the tree line.

The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday.

The location of the town was perfect for our hiking holiday. Unfortunately we came at the end of the season and SC and neighbouring villages were very quiet. The free bus service was a great help getting around the area and even as far out as to Brunico. Eating out in SC was limited but a great find was the restaurant at the campsite of Sass Diacia.

This small town is surrounded by Italian Alps which allow travelers to stay calm and peaceful mood. Convenient stores were available in the city center. It is easy to access to any hotel from main road to the edge of mountains. Location of this town is in between Ortisei and Cinque Torri which makes this town as stopover for a night for Dolomites pilgrimage. Of course, multiple night stay is also recommended. In summer time, air and temperature can refresh tired body and release stress. Highly recommendable with two thumbs up.

breathtakingly beautiful - it's all about the outdoors and mountain activities here. We visited in summer and were in awe of the natural beauty and how perfectly balanced the development was. great food.
