Suited our purpose perfectly. We just needed a place to stay for one night within an hour of Bologna. We just needed a bed for the night, dinner, and breakfast. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. We would definitely stay here again. The staff were lovely, the food was excellent, room was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy access to the Autostrada and into Bologna airport the next day. We didn't have much time there but it was a very picturesque area. Definitely recommend.

On our trip to Apulia, we stayed one night at Tenute Torte Diana with two families, 8 people in total. We were so lucky to find such a wonderful place. The hotel is partly located in a 600-year-old building, beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. The restaurant on site was a real highlight – the pizza was excellent, and the daily special, wild boar roast with vegetables, was simply amazing. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely stunning property and a very unique stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated and very stylish. Carefully chosen interiors and very sleek finish in the communal areas and bedroom. Our room was huge with a full seating area, dressing room area and beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower. The high ceilings and sense of space was so luxurious. We barely wanted to leave it. Sharing the apartment with other guests works perfectly and Davide was very attentive, making sure everything was going well throughout the stay. The rooms are really spaced out from each other and we barely even saw the other guests so it almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. The kitchen was perfect to making a quick breakfast and coffee but you could do much more if you wanted to. The location is also perfect. I could not recommend Frame enough and already think we will come back with friends.

Very convenient place for car travellers. Easily accesible from the major highway, own free parking so you don't have to take care on one of serious issues when travelling to Bologna or generally to most of italian cities. The hotel is well maintained, equipped and has a very nice restaurant, cosy for eating both inside and outside. Breakfast was superb, great choice of different items, sufficient for various dietary habits. Would recommend it to anyone who travels around Italy and needs the resting point in the vicinity of the city and a highway.

Everything is exceptional. Beautiful interior, awesome location, fantastic food. The hotel team is very caring and going out of their ways to accommodate the guests - starting from the reception desk, to the restaurant and cleaning. The parking host went an extra mile today to help us when we were struggling to enter the location of the next destination of our journey after Bologna - we were so surprised and happy to find him double-checking on us at the point we were already frustrated in the car and figure it out! The location of the hotel is great - you can walk app.10-15 minutes through nice streets and you are in the city center. If you come by car it is very comfortable since the hotel has lot of parking spaces in the garage under the hotel they share with a nearby hospital. We got free upgrade of the room with a city view, which was beautiful. The breakfast is very rich, with all the nice treatments as prosecco and wide offer of hot and cold food. I can only recommend this hotel if you plan a city stay in Bologna.

Bologna is a great city.

Bologna is a great city. Full of interesting architecture and art. The small streets off the Piazza Maggiore are so full of great food shops, eateries and bars that you really don't have to venture further afield. Of you do, the buses are so easy to use but really the centre is contained it's easy to walk to most places.

It's a rather remote, quiet town.

It's a rather remote, quiet town. Nothing to draw one to except quiet and near the Bologna airport. I ended up choosing to heat up a packaged curry/rice meal from the supermarket, as the only other choice (since I didm't have a car) was a pizzeria.

We were pleasantly surprised by Imola—its historical city center is truly lovely. Despite welcoming over 240,000 spectators for the Grand Prix, if you ventured off the beaten path, you could still find quiet streets and charming corners to enjoy in peace. It’s a beautiful blend of vibrant energy and tranquil charm.

Sasso Marconi is a perfect half way point between Switzerland and Rome. The main square in front of the church is a happening place with a market and a great meeting place for the locals. A particular highlight is Profumerie Piselli a perfume/ cosmetic shop just around the corner from the square.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3.

It was perfect for what we wanted as a family of 3. We were travelling from the north to the south and used it as an overnight stop. It was very rural and peaceful which we liked, and Emanuela was very helpful in arranging a table at the local Osteria. They have horses there and a very friendly dog called Missy, who was a great favourite with my daughter. If you want an overnight stop during your holiday I'd highly recommend it.

The beautiful pittoresque old town and its wonderful buildings. The location of the tourist information on the wrong side of the highway, Taake was surprised by all the possible obstacles. I got the feeling that the city really doesn't even want tourists in its village. The mural was wonderful, but nobody or anything said anything about it either. The cycling route that runs through the city is really great, it should just be brought to more awareness. The tourism marketing of this city needs a strong shake-up, because the city really has a lot to offer to tourists who appreciate nature and exercise and good local food and drink.

I was attending a conference (business) so my focus was not on tourism. However, I did have two guided walking tours around the city center and I also spent some hours walking the city on my own. I can recommend taking a walking tour. (I took the "free" walking tour in English; the guide made it a very worthwhile experience.) There is definitely a lot to see in Bologna, particularly, if you are interested in medieval history. Bologna city centre is walkable. It is also easy to take busses, although I did not find it easy to get an overview of the bus network.

We used this place as a starting point to visit: - the historic centre of Bologna (20 min. by a car) - Ferrari Museum in Maranello (50 min.) - Lamborghini factory and museum in Santa Agatha (20 min.) Airport: For some, it may be important that this place is near the airport of Bologna. Restaurant: From the accommodation we got a tip about the restaurant Ristorante Pizzeria "Itaca" in Calderara di Reno - excellent 👍 (10min. by a car) Visit Bologna: Bologna is a very busy town with narrow streets. I strongly do not recommend going into the historic centre by a car. Use the underground garages on the outskirts of the historic centre - e.g. on Via Riva di Reno and then walk

We loved the town, it is lively enough, with restaurants,...

We loved the town, it is lively enough, with restaurants, cafes and shops, but less touristy than Bologna which we had visited before that. We felt much safer and relaxed here in Imola. We enjoyed the walk in the historical centre, a visit to the Duomo, walking in the Acque Minerali park. Unfortunately, the fortress was closed for reconstruction at the time but we observed it at least from the outside and learned about its history from a very useful app. It's called VisitARe Imola app and we loved it, it's exactly what you need for individual sightseeing of the city and the surroundings. The kids enjoyed having a look at the Imola circuit and driving in the simulators. And other sights in the region are within a reasonable driving distance. The closest is Dozza, which we felt in love with but also a longer trip to San Marino and Rimini was absolutely worth it. And strangely perhaps, we liked the walk around the Piratello cemetery. It is really impressive and even more so in the time of our visit - just two days before All Saints' Day.
