Exceptional breakfast and dinner and general vibe around the hotel. In an outstanding area with loads of walks nearby. A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff, great drinks at the bar. Pool was beautiful and sitting outside was a really great experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We had the most wonderful, cosy vacation at Orso Grigio. The staff is absolutely wonderful, the hôtel has everything you need, (and nothing more), the food is delicious with so many choices! The spa was super grande! We did not expect to find so many facilities in the wellness centre. So we were pleasantly surprised. Also the breakfast is phenomenal. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was outstandingly nice. We chose to stay for another time during our holiday.

Amazing winter stay – highly recommended! I stayed at this hotel during the winter and it was absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect – right in the center of the town, just a 10-minute walk to the ski slope, which is beautifully lit in the evenings. The hotel has an incredible atmosphere and stylish interior design that made the stay truly special. The wellness area is excellent – there's a great indoor pool and outstanding saunas. One of the saunas is located on the rooftop with a breathtaking view of the mountains, and right next to it is a jacuzzi – perfect after a day on the slopes. The owners – Renate, Barbara and Hannes – were incredibly kind and welcoming. I especially have great memories of talking with Hannes, the "head of the hotel" – he was warm, attentive and always available for a good conversation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a winter getaway. It was an unforgettable experience and I would definitely come back!

We had a great stay there, the facilities meeting the expectations. Two pools, big sauna with view to the mountains, the heated pool was amazing to stay in, while looking at the Dolomites. Dinner can be booked for 35€ and it’s a 5 course meal, no a la cart.

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town.

Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.

Landscape is beautiful, well organizes services, buses, etc., people are very polite (only not nice experience was in MTB academy) and the other remark is that on Sunday all the shops are closed which is not usually in other cities in Italy.

Easy to get around by car, i have noticed there are buses too Be mindful, most shops open for 2 sessions mostly around 9-1pm and 3-7pm But cafes and restaurant usually opens all day Arrive early at the mountains for easy parking, be sure to make reservation at least one day in advance if going to visit the three zinnen Make sure keep a few euros at hand if need to use public toilet, otherwise, can use toilet in cafe if you make a purchase

Extremely touristy but also extremely beautiful. The lake struggles with too many cars and too many visitors. We were able to get a special pass to parking because we were actually staying in the valley which is preferable but expensive.

Can't say much about it, really, because our main goal was skiing, so we spent most of the time in Kronplatz, which is just 10 min away by train (station Percha). But we find time for a walk in Villabassa center and also had a great dinner at Emma restaurant (if I remember correctly the name), Overall, it's a quite clean town, which should be even nicer in the warmer periods of the year.

Nice village, easy to stroll around - few shops, caffees, restaurant available. Great for cross country skiing - Dobbiaco is linked with all neighbour villages and long distance trails are also starting from here. Easy access by car and skibus to 3Zinnen ski lifts.

Bus transportation was free and fairly frequent. There is not much in the center of Sesto, It feels like a passing route rather than a village, unlike San Candido where there are shops and cafes and restaurants. None of that in Sesto. Good place to stay if you want to hike around and nothing else. I think I would rather stay in San Candido or Villabassa next time. If you stay in Sesto make sure you stay at a hotel that serves breakfast and dinner. If you have an apartment you will need to cook as there is no good restaurant option.

San Candido is a picture perfect town nestled amongst the most beautiful mountain range in Europe , it has everything you need for a family holiday in the Dolomites , bars, restaurants and independent shops , I would highly recommend a visit .

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking...

Braies is very beautiful location, nice lake, good parking and food. It us better to come in the morning, because of changing wheather and a lot of tourists. The boat renting is expensive 50€/person/ 1/2 hour.

A small what seemed to be more local town, which I liked.

A small what seemed to be more local town, which I liked. Only a handful of restaurants with unpredictable hours as google was sometimes wrong. Not a reason to not stay here though, really enjoyed the town and the lack of tourists.
