We had a wonderful stay at Taormina Garden Hotel. Federica at the reception was very helpful and welcoming. Angelo, who served our breakfast and handled our check-out, was fantastic — the breakfast was very good, and drinking espresso prepared by Angelo was a real pleasure. We also enjoyed a lovely and friendly conversation with him.
We spent a beautiful night at the hotel. The hotel is amazing, very close to the sea, and has a well-maintained garden filled with a variety of plants and trees. There are also sun loungers available for relaxing and sunbathing. The availability of parking is another big plus.We highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful and very charming hotel. The common areas and breakfast areas were really lovely and the views to the ocean were amazing. The breakfast itself was amazing and varied. The hotel is easy walking distance to the centre. The staff were lovely and even helped with parking on site, as it is really difficult otherwise!

Villa Paradiso is located in the heart of Taormina, easily reachable by car and they offer a valet service which is very convenient! Try to get a room with view of the garde, you will get treated with sea view and the Etna! It will also be more quiet then on the street side.
Breakfast was fantastic and is served on the top floor where you also have a wonderful view of the Etna. And go there for drinks as it is lovely during apero hour!

The property is a beautiful oasis in Riposto. It is modern with amazing features like the wall of windows in the dining area that open up completely. The finish is immaculate Antonio and his wife are justifiably proud of what they have achieved. The rooms are clean , spacious and beautifully finished. The bathroom is amazing and the shower is to die for. Most of the rooms either overlook the sea or the imposing Etna at the rear. The pool is unusual almost like a pond but equally good for swimming. It has a waterfall and jacuzzi facility. It was a joy to lie there and watch the swifts swoop down and sparrows and finches take a bath on the edge.
The staff are truly amazing so friendly and helpful , nothing is too much trouble and someone is always available.

I appreciate the design and authentic decoration a lot, the meals were delicious (both breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant), the garden and pool are lovely. It's great to explore for a day or two but it's definitely touristy and full of overpriced shops. For my vibe I would have preferred to have spent my days lodging in Castelmola and then along Etna -- I'm more of a small town-vibe traveler and I enjoy getting to know and spending time with the locals.

Out of season, it’s a beautiful place with friendly locals, great prices, excellent coffee and croissants, delicious pizzas and Aperol. Everything is within easy reach — I used public transport a lot and also enjoyed walking around.

The host,Marco, was great. He made great suggestions for dining.The apartment was very nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The view of Mount Etna and the ocean was a real plus.
We didn’t see too much of Acireale because we did day trips to Etna and Taormina. Travel was difficult,but worthwhile when we got to our destinations. Due to some guests physical limitations,we didn’t walk around the city too much. Would recommend this Apartment.

Breakfast is served in an authentic traditional dining room, where you can admire a wood-fired oven once used for baking, cooking, and heating.
The breakfast itself was truly fresh — warm bread and pastries, amazing olive oil made by the host, mozzarella, about seven different kinds of honey, and excellent coffee with no limits. I also really appreciated the very accommodating self check-in late after midnight.
Right in front of the accommodation begins the access road to Mount Etna. Unfortunately, we didn’t have good weather — heavy fog and rain made it unsafe to continue to the summit — so we turned back. But we’ll definitely return another time and stay at the same place again.

Ragalna is a small village part of the metropolitan city of Catania. It is south of the etna volcano and about 20km from Etna Refugio Sapienza. It is a very quiet town and has everything you would need, such as supermarkets, Restaurants, vegetable Shops and Salmuneria Shops. Also playground for kids in the town square.

If you are looking for an area that is less touched by...
If you are looking for an area that is less touched by tourism but still with plenty of facilities in resort, you can not go wrong. Public transport can take you into Catania (about 40 mins) for historical visit and choice of shopping experiences, but the long flat promenade, excellent restaurants. We dinned mostly at Pellegrino Pizzeria as the stay are so friendly, very good food and very reasonable prices. Walking between AciTrezza and AciCastello is very easy for a change of scenery and there are wide choices of boat trips from the harbour. There are also several diving companies for those looking to go under the water rather than view it on top.

Giarre and neighbouring Riposto are unspoilt small towns with few tourists. We were the only foreigners wherever we ate. La Tavernetta was our favourite. The seafood market in Riposto was a perfect source for the meals we cooked in our suite. Driving in Sicily is fun as long as you copy the locals. Use Apple maps for navigation - Google maps was useless.

It is a nice place if you chose to stay near Catania, but you need a car to get there. The parking is ok - there are a couple of parking lots near by. Since it was end of the season there were lots of places for free ( white lines). The apartment is nicely designed and has plenty of space, and the balcony overlooks the sea, and the view is stunning. The bathroom, however, needs to be freshened up, especially the plumbing and the shower. The owners might have been more outgoing and friendly.
