Very nice location and property, you can see attention to details, restaurant serves amazing local food. Possibility to charge electric car. Breakfast was amazing even though we were almost the only guests. Unfortunately we could not experience the swimming pool, as it was closed.

The studio/house was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – a perfect home away from home. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying, with enough variety to start the day right. Parking right in front of the property was very convenient, and the swimming pool was a real highlight – clean, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing after a day out.     We had the most wonderful two weeks at La Casa di Campagna, hosted by the warm and welcoming Mara and Massimo at their idyllic Umbrian farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff were always so friendly, smiley, and ready to help, which made us feel immediately at home. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the communal lounge area with its handy shared fridge and coffee maker. The property itself is spacious and beautifully kept, with a gorgeous swimming pool, plenty of loungers, and quiet corners throughout the gardens that are perfect for relaxing with a book. The restaurant was a real highlight – the food is absolutely outstanding, with traditional regional Italian dishes full of flavour, lots of variety, and delicious daily specials. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a plentiful buffet and the option of freshly cooked eggs and bacon. All in all, La Casa di Campagna is not only a wonderful place to stay, but also perfectly located for exploring Umbria, Lake Trasimeno, and Tuscany. We truly loved every moment of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

    Absolutely wonderful staff at reception and at breakfast. breakfast was served so caringly, and was very good. I enjoyed the delicious english tea that was given me by the kind and sweet lady (who was also at reception the night before). The location was superb. it left a sweetness in us and a great fondness for Passagno sul Trasimeno.

    We stayed one night.

    We stayed one night. Julia, the hostess, was outstandingly helpful and she spoke very good English. The dinner and breakfast were particularly good. We ate dinner outdoors but in good shade from the evening sun. There is a large swimming pool which has a superb view. I highly recommend Romitorio agriturismo.

    I went for a concert but added on a couple of days. It is a small but beautiful medieval hilltop town with a calm relaxed atmosphere, great view of Lago Trasimeno and good restaurants (including a Michelin starred) with a range of Italian styles and cost.

    This is not a busy tourist town.

    This is not a busy tourist town. It is a nice quiet place on a hill looking out over the surrounding countryside and lovely lake. The main square has a cafe / bar where you can enjoy an expresso and watch the world go by. Some really good restaurants like the Osteria dell'accademia and Ristorante vecchio mulino. Also for a great breakfast, Sandwich or Pizza try Bar Hannibal. Its a great local bar very friendly and reasonable. Also next to one of the supermarkets so you can stock up and have a relaxing lunch.

    San Feliciano is very small as a town but served as a good base to travel out and about from. Other towns further along may cater better for tourists looking for a nightlife beyond just local restaurants. We stayed in a villa that was on the outskirts, so catered for ourselves picking up produce from the local markets and supermarkets. In the main town there were a few restaurants and cafes along the lakes edge and it was a very sleepy tranquil place at the time of year we visited end of August early September. It was great if you want to escape the touristy busyness and absorb the natural beauty of the place. It was very peaceful and calm just what we needed before getting back to busy lives.

    It's a charming little place especially if you take the time to walk up the through the steep back streets to the old fort. There are some good restaurants and fortunately it hasn't yet been completely Disneyfied, unlike the larger options around the lake. The proximity to the ferry for trips to Lago Maggiore does attract a lot of day trippers. There are lovely paved walkways along a large stretch of lakeside.

    Amazing peaceful relaxing place to stay, accommodation is exceptional, breakfast was included which was magnificent, they have a restaurant for dinner! Swimming pool was large with lots of chairs around! Views are incredible! Drove around the lake and stopped at lots of little towns,!

    Panicale is a wonderfull old town on top of the hill with townwalls and narrow streets, and beautiful small squares. Good restaurants and even a small theatre and festival in september. Carparking on the streets close to the hotel is possible not for free. From the town panoramic views on Lake Trasimeno!
