We spent our wedding anniversary here and we couldn’t be happier. We got upgraded to a panoramic room with a beautiful balcony and were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco. Giulia ensured we have a great time and personalized the experience, left cute notes in the room wishing us a happy anniversary and made sure everything was going perfectly. I highly recommend staying at the hotel. The service is exceptional and the location is perfectly central

The hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.

This place is beautiful with great vibes. The breakfast was also amazing. The staff at the restaurant and on the reception was really helpful and friendly. Too many facilities at one place. I also bought local bus tickets from here. There were so many other options for tourists which i could not explore due to limited time. The hotel also had a shuttle service to the city center and return for a very reasonable price.

9/3/25 It's not the Rome I remember (my 8th trip but traveling with a first timer) It has become over run by tourists, actually taking away from the beauty. You fight crowds at every turn and miss the beauty. There is no such thing as finding that gem of a Restaurant down an untraveled allley anymore. Maybe I've gotten older, but strollinng at night when the tourists are back at their accomodations wasn't all that magical anymore. The Vatican was disappointing in that most areas of the Basilica was a barricaded pathway to herd the masses through. You didn't enjoy just roaming through looking at everything like in the past. I don't know what it was abouit the lighting in the Sistine Chapel, but it wasn't as I remembered. Then let's talk about the Piazza... not able to walk freely through or linger... in fact, wasn't accessable at all. In a word: SAD Coloseum: Nothing exciting or fun outside anymore. The Culture has been lost, sloppily dressed, demanding tourists, and restaurant menus are all the same. Piazzas filled with more tables than space. If I ever return ... it will be in a very Off Season.

My husband and I stayed here for our final night in Italy so we could be close to the airport for departure the next day. The apartment was very generous in size, with a lounge/dining, kitchen with small balcony overlooking the carpark with cafe table & 2 chairs, bathroom and bedroom. We left our luggage - including my husband's bike - in the car overnight and felt very safe doing so as both the apartment and the car park area could only be accessed by residents with keys. The instructions to find and enter the apartment were very clear - and included a video which made the process very simple to replicate. We could walk to the beach from the apartment and we found a bar to have an aperol spritz and then a seafood meal to celebrate the end of our Italy trip - both of which were recommended by the host (who lives in the apartment upstairs and was super helpful).

There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).

Viterbo is a lovely town to visit and it is definitely a trip worth it if you want to escape all the hassle and bustle of Rome. Viterbo has a unique charm and I fell in love with it when I walked the Via Francigena. I stayed in Orchard Bed & Breakafast in Viterbo centre on the Via francigena path as it is available for pilgrims. Viterbo has more than one Spa resort. There are plenty of restaurants and the city is booming with vibrance and cafes. staying 3 nights in Viterbo was definitely worth it. The Park is lovely and the people are friendly. You do not have to worry about theft or other annoying misdemeanors. I would recommend 'Pizza Express'. It is an Indian restaurant, reasonable price and offers a wide range of dishes!!!

We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June.

We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June. We experienced a local feel with few tourists. the old town is fantastic. We rented electric bikes, which is recommended. Then you can get around easily. A trip up to the temple went like a dream in the heat. We also cycled out to the Cantina Sant'Andrea winery. It took approx. one hour one way. A wonderful trip and a great visit where we tasted many good wines. One should also enter a trip to Ponza. The ferry departs from the city centre. An incredibly cozy island. We chose to rent a boat when we were out there, so that we could take a trip to the outside of the island and swim in the crystal clear water. It was magical! We only took a day trip, but we should have included an overnight stay at Ponza.

A cute charmful hilly old town not far from Rome . Transportation to Termini or to airport not good. Often one or two changes of trains has to be done and makes the trip to Rome very long . The direct train to Termini ( very close to the historic area of Rome)is good but there are 1-2 trains a day only.
