This is hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The service from the entire staff was exceptional. They’re all very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and has more spaces then I realised to just relax. We also had both breakfast and dinner included and the food was exceptional! Overall, we’re both counting down to our next trip to the Dolomites so we can stay here again.

Amazing location, the small town is beautiful on its own, and the staff is so very friendly. The rooms were very clean and new. They also have a sauna on location. They have a hair dryer, elevator, and they are close to a lot of restaurants for dinners. The bus station is also very close by.

The location, service and attention to detail were exceptional. We were greeted at the reception with a very warm welcome, almost like you were coming to the relatives. As it was my birthday on that day, I received a compliment from the hotel with 2 glasses of champagne to me and my husband. On Sunday, there was a gala dinner with a fixed menu. Not only the menu was very extensive, but very tasty. I am not a fan of beef, but I can officially tell there was the best beef dish I have ever had. The pool is very good and clean too, a nice choice of hygiene products - Rituals.. which is my favourite:-) To summarise- just highly recommended pto anyone visiting Dolomites 😊

beautiful hotel in a lovely location. the staff look after the guests really well, they all very friendly and obliging. the food was always excellent - and often quite creative - clearly using a lot of local products. We went here for walking - and this was a perfect place to start walks - or a short drive away. Gorgeous walks all around. Also well placed to go to visit local castles and such like on rainy days.

It was modern facility with nice fit out , spacious rooms with smart layout and beautiful view on the mountains. Downstairs is nice restaurant with Italian cuisine. Personal was super friendly and helpful especially considering we were traveling with small kid. Also if you seek for property with good accessibility by car and real ski to door experience put this to your short list

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff was extremely warm and helpful, service was immaculate and the meals were fantastic! We were so pampered. Everything about the hotel is thoughtful and aimed at providing a perfect experience. It is also very near to the Kronplatz ski slope.

This is a very nice hotel superb location with great mountain views. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Dinner was included in the price and was exceptional,at least 5 courses. Breakfast was also good. This is such a nice hotel would like to go back one day.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

We quite liked the village - it felt nicer than most other villages in the surrounding area. This is because it is a bit bigger than most and has more traditional town layout (instead of being village lined out next to the main street). Architecture is mostly traditional, which gives it the right alpine village vibe. There is a good choice for places to eat and a decent SPAR store. Ski lift is nearby. It seems that every other house is a hotel or a guest house, so finding the right accommodation should be fairly easy.

lovely area with stunning mountains but be aware that you need to pre-book parking for a lot of actives! and be prepared that there will be lots of other tourists around; it sometimes gets tedious to squeeze through them.

Probably the best place to ski where we have been so far. Large area, not too crowdy, slopes exactly to our taste (means blue and red :-) ). Well organised. Not sure where to park if you come late to the lift, but it was not our case.

A very neat, clean and perfectly organized city with Austrian organization and Italian flair. The feeling of security is very high, there are no beggars, no suspicious men. The stores sell excellent goods, there are no cheap stores like New Yorker, generally there are no international brands, but that's why you find very high quality goods at reasonable prices. The food is gastronomic, and the prices are acceptable. The architecture is first class.

Beautiful South Tyrol resort offering everything you need for any mountain activities you can imagine or just pure relaxation. With mix of old buildings and modern ski infrastructure this place offers true alpine ambient. On top of surroundings I really enjoyed local cuisine that is simple but based on natural local ingredients exceptionally good in every restaurant we had a chance to visit. My favorites were "Chi Cianeis" for lunch and "Plazores" for dinner.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied.

There is a local supermarket which is well supplied. There are also clothes shops and even a shoe repair place. The museum at the Tourist Information is well worth a visit and you will learn about the Roman history of the town. You can also go on organised walks and tours which explores the local history. The roads are narrow and parking is limited but buses and trains are very good. The restaurant in the square is well worth a visit and is famous for its Pizzas.

Very small quiet village. Picturesque and such friendly local people. Not many facilities in the village, one small supermarket, couple of hotels but only one with a restaurant for outside guests and they only served pizza. Cafe/Bar Val is a great place to sit and enjoy drinks at the end of the day or for coffee/breakfast. Super friendly staff who were lovely. Local language of ladin spoken or German. Don't go expecting people to speak English to you! We got by with German and a spattering of Italian but that is why we also loved it as prefer to be immersed in the culture. Piculin gondola just down the road which gave access to Kronplatz ski area. Takes about 45 mins to get over to main Platz . Badia Abtei lift about 15 mins further up which gave you access to La Villa via lifts and runs and La Villa and gondola about 25 mins further on. Ski bus seem to run frequently, although we drove so didn't use it. Parking in La Villa was 4 euros for the day. We also drove to Brunneck and picked up main gondola to Kronplatz from there. More direct to access slopes but a good 30 min drive. Lots of supermarkets in Brunneck but parking a nightmare. Use MPrice at the bottom of Piculin gondola, has everything you need.
