If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Giacomo and Ivana were just beyond outstanding. Giacomo went out of his way to help us with a refund we needed for a petrol kiosk situation without us asking which was just amazing and so very thoughtful of him. Ivana made sure we had our breakfasts packed when we needed to leave the hotel early for our hikes. We saw her in full action - she was the receptionist, making coffee in the morning for breakfast and also preparing the breakfast spread as well. The rooms are modern, brand new and always clean. We highly recommend this lovely lodging to anyone touring the dolomites!

The hotel is run by the owners, who were concerned at all times that our stay was very comfortable... they made us feel at home! The location of the hotel is very convenient for touring the valley and the facilities are perfect. The room was very spacious for my wife and my one-year-old son. The breakfast was incredible, with local hams and cheeses, as well as a variety of typical cakes and strudels; and fresh fruit. If I were to return to the Dolomites, I would definitely come back here!

The property is newly built, with a clean, modern design. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and offered a beautiful view. Thanks to its location, the surroundings are wonderfully quiet — in the morning, you can even hear the birds singing, which creates a truly peaceful atmosphere. The restaurant is also lovely, and the dinners we had there were absolutely delicious. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Excellent location, very close to Tre Cime d Lavorado, excellent hotel very clean, comfortable beds, spacious, beautiful views. Staff was very helpful and polite and helped us find good place for dinner. Sufficient parking space available and access from garage to the rooms can be by lift. We will highly recommend this place.

A really lovely, cosy hotel with the most wonderful staff and a jaw-dropping view right on the lake. The room was cosy and comfortable with a beautiful balcony to look out to the most spectacular view over the lake and up to the mountains. The open fire was burning downstairs and it made for a really cosy and homely atmosphere. The staff, particularly Nicola, were amazing and made us feel so welcome. Thank you - we’ll definitely be back!

Very outdated Ski center, that probably had its glory days...

Very outdated Ski center, that probably had its glory days in the 70's. Modern day mechanics in terms of ski reachability, from tourist aspect, are not existing. Unless you are at a hotel with dedicated transport, the ski-in/ski-out experience is terrible. Ski busses are very scarce, with locations not suitable for most of apartments and rent houses. You must drive with a car every day to the main gondolas, which creates traffic jams every morning. Not to mention the overhead of paying everyday for a full day parking fees while you are skiing. This situation puts Cortina on the same level as any other low budget ski centers in Europe, which is hilarious given the fact that it will host Winter Olympic Games 2026. Skiing: Very good ski runs (red and black, FIS) - skiing is probably the only good spot in overall. Food: Compared to other nearby ski centers like Alta Badia, overrated and bad. Expected more from Italian hospitality, especially on the slopes (the food was one big joke (both in quality and quantity). Child Friendliness: There is one hilarious thing worth mentioning: When you buy Dolomiti SuperSki pass in AltaBadia, 3rd child is free. But when you buy the same tickets in Cortina, there is no discount for 3rd child??? Overall feeling compared to other expensive ski centers: Bad. Unless they make effortless way of going to ski without taking your own car every day, this is a no-go ski center. I cannot recommend it.

We chose this place since we were looking for a room with air conditioning near Cortina d'Ampezzo. Boca di Cadora is a very small town , and it takes 15 minutes to get to Cortina D'amezzo , which is a central town and a better choice for day trips in the dolomit area. There was nothing to do in Boca di Cadora in the summer.

The location is in a quiet spot far from the business. The view from the balcony is magnificent. Everything is well maintained. We cooked our meals just like home. Grocery shops just a short walk from the unit.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

We had an absolutely perfect experience during our 5-day stay at Garni Civetta, tucked away in the stunning Italian Dolomites. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owners, a truly kind couple who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the beauty of the Dolomites. It's not the cheapest town in the area, and not every place has the same high standards. Lots of Olympic construction going on, both in town and all around, so watch out for delays and possible noise. But you'll get over that once you smell the air and see the views. This is the Alsager then some

Awesome location, close to good supermarket, restaurants and park Easy short drive to some spectacular hikes. It was busy in August but not too hard to get off the beaten track. Good take-away pizza from the spagetteria restaurant. Park by the lake lovely in the evening for toddler with crazy golf/trampolines, nice bar for a beer with amazing views of the mountains Dolomites probably our new favourite place 👌

What a beautiful town, full of mountain charm.

What a beautiful town, full of mountain charm. The scenery and lake are stunning. There a a variety of food options and cute stores, but pay attention to hours of operation.we truly enjoyed the restaurant Moma, in the Hotel Diana and it’s sister restaurant, La Zupo up the mountain at the first gondola stop. The Fun Bob is a must, at the adventure park! They have great open air markets by the lake and have amazing food & items for sale.
