We were two mates on a motorcycle trip and had booked accommodation at Castrum for one night. We received an incredibly warm welcome from the hostess and enjoyed good wine and a lovely view. The rooms were also very good. The wine tasting in the bistro was not quite as expected, but the rest was great. We would love to go back here!

2 main things I look for: bed length as I'm tall - good with my feet not dangling in the air, shower - functioning, not leaking and good water pressure. Other features that stood out: swimming pool with a view to the vineyard and mountains - it was great to relax and unwind after a hot day, we had a dinner and it was great (restaurant has the sticker about Michelin star they got in 2017), good breakfast.

We've stayed in many pretty places before, but never in an apartment like this! The hosts were extremely nice and friendly. The place is completely renovated, very spacious and well-furnished. It has a cute balcony that is perfect for sitting down, enjoying a cup of coffee and admiring the spectacular view of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Would definitely recommend it!
