FAQs about hotels in Veneto
Inspiration for Artist and Architect
The Veneto offers relaxation and recreation in world-famous cities and wonderful landscapes. Words don’t do justice to its ever-serene capital Venice, a captivating maze of canals and monuments. Cheap hotels in Venice are scarce, but Mestre across the lagoon offers more budget options.
Cheap flights to Venice land in Treviso, a little version of that fabled city. Also centred on canals is beautiful Chioggia, home to several Veneto hotels on the beach. Yet more are in Caorle, near its distinctive 11th-century bell tower and waterfront church. Another family-friendly Veneto resort with a long beach is Lido di Jesolo.
In studenty Padua, Giotto’s 14th-century frescoes in the Scrovegni Chapel are bursting with colour. The majestic Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza was designed by Palladio, the prolific architect whose villas and churches cover the Veneto. Romantic Verona inspired Romeo and Juliet and has an incredibly well-preserved Roman arena hosting summer opera.
Nearby Lake Garda offers many luxury hotels in the Veneto on Booking.com. By its eastern shore is the popular Gardaland theme park, the elegant Garda promenade, and the wineries of Bardolino.
Grappa was invented in riverfront Bassano del Grappa, and nearby Asolo is one of the region’s most beautiful hill towns. Belluno is overlooked by the Dolomites, while Abano Terme is a spa town by the Colli Euganei, whose undulating hills house vineyards.

- From US$804.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 184 reviewsWe highly recommend this hotel. We were really surprised with the hotel design, room size, quality of furniture and materials in the bathrooms. We were so impressed with the outdoor pool in the room and sauna with jacuzzi and swing on the balcony! So comfortable rooms, beds with the variants of pillows. Never slept like in this hotel :). Room service also very good. All necessary equipment was every time in the room. Food in the restaurant is also without any words ), everything was perfect. Service in the restaurant, quality and the taste of food! everything so delicious, big variety of wine list and cocktails. You can totally relax in this hotel at any time of the year with its perfect spa and pool. that was sooo relaxing. Stylish and clean. And you can go by foot for about 30 min to the historical town with the castle - Lazise. We saw the taxi from the hotel, but prefer to have walk. And the hotel has very good placement. To any interesting place about 20-30 min by car. To the beautiful Sermione is about 20 min. We are highly recommend this hotel!Guest review byIrinaRussia
- From US$86.16 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,139 reviewsThis place is absolutely magical. Our apartment was clean , bright, and the room where my kids were was really beautiful. We had a garden view, and there we had total privacy and a lot of places for kids to play. Always hot water , small but well equipped kitchen,it was true enjoyment cooking there . Everyone around was very respectful to sleeping hours, plus the apartment has good sound isolation. Mornings were beautiful, with sun rays breaking through the olive trees , and the sound of birds was making the atmosphere in the garden so perfect that I could spend a lifetime there enjoying it . The pool was great too ,kids enjoyed slides ,one of the pools has heated water . The walk through camp was really something, lake walk also and if you are lucky to catch a clear day , sunset will leave you speechless. Cappuccino and croissants in camp restaurant are excellent , and the personnel working there are extremely polite. I really hope I will come back to Le Palme in the future, and definitely I would love to stay much more days than I did now .Guest review byAndreaGreece

Verona — a city you can’t help but fall in love with 💛
Verona — a city you can’t help but fall in love with 💛 Walking through its charming streets feels like traveling back in time. Narrow cobblestone lanes, cozy cafés, the sound of street musicians, and the aroma of fresh espresso create a truly magical atmosphere. The Verona Arena is breathtaking — especially at sunset, when its ancient walls glow in golden light. The view from Ponte Pietra is simply unforgettable, and a stroll along the Adige River reveals the city’s romantic soul. Verona isn’t just the city of Romeo and Juliet — it’s a place where history and modern life blend perfectly. I’ll definitely come back one day ❤️Guest review byMGreenchGeorgia - 10.0

Although I spent most of my time in Venice, I enjoyed the casual walkable surroundings. Good coffee shops and restaurants close by. The bus into Venice took 10 minutes and ran often. The train station was also close by. Staying in Mestre was certainly less hectic than staying in Venice so it was quite enjoyable.Guest review byronUnited States - 10.0

College town with nice squares, historic buildings, museums and university without all the tourists. No big tourist groups or buses. Felt more like a real livable city with a local community. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable relative to the more popular tourist locations.Guest review byDR Ron GUnited States - 8.0

Easily reached from Verona and an interesting place with it's massive Venetian style defensive walls. It has a couple of pretty areas, but there isn't a lot else of historic interest here. Plenty of nice places to eat though, with Osteria Rivelin and Amici Miei Tipicoteca the standouts that we tried. From here you can use the ferries and buses to go elsewhere quite easily - as long as you are relaxed about bus timetables. Theme parks Gardaland and Movieland are pretty close by as well, for the kids. Finally, the people are lovely and friendly everywhere.Guest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

just behind the hotel is a strip where all the bars, shops , restaurants are located. they all appeared to be of a very high standard. great beer options. food is made to a very good standard. We went into John Martins , Mary's , Route 66 and theB. live music venue. drink and food prices reasonable. the beach is sunbeds cheek by jowl, but the hotel alocates sunbeds. very safe beach and warm meditteranian sea. use insect bite cream though due to the lagoon location.Guest review bymartinUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Really enjoyed staying in Bardolino. Plenty of shops and spoilt for choice when it came to restaurants. It’s quite busy even late September and I wouldn’t want to go during the peak summer months for this reason but also the heat.Guest review byJeannetteUnited Kingdom - 2.0

It's not the cheapest town in the area, and not every place has the same high standards. Lots of Olympic construction going on, both in town and all around, so watch out for delays and possible noise. But you'll get over that once you smell the air and see the views. Treviso is worth a visit if you are near or close to Venice.
Treviso is worth a visit if you are near or close to Venice. It's a very walkable town with ancient roots and lots of great shops and places of interest. We were mostly stayed within the city walls chose a neighborhood with amazing shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also felt more diverse in population than some of the other towns we visited - both in age and ethnicity (probably due to the local university and the fact that the city also hosts a lot of study abroad programs). Some memorable places we went to include * Cathedral of St. Peter the Apostle (a/k/a the Duomo) * Osteria Dalla Gigia for a quick bites/small snacks (highly recommend the mozzarella in carrozza if it's available) * Toni del Spin - a trattoria with a great wine list * Mangiafuoco - a lovely children's shop that specializes in paper mache, wood, and fabric toys and decor * Noberasco 1908 dried fruit specialty store (the slightly sweetened dried orange slices are like no other) * Camelia BakeryGuest review bySusanUnited States
