The detail-oriented nature of this Hilton! We were just so impressed. Everything was not only clean, immaculate, very spacious, but we noticed so many details about how things were done in this Hilton that you just cannot find in any others anymore in North America. One was the manipulation of the bathroom mirror leaving a clear patch for you to see through, even though the whole bathroom is fogged over. Another is the classiness and the delicateness of all the ceramic in the room. We wished that we could purchase it, but we weren't able to sadly. Everything was amazing.

This hotel was in a great location for Yokohama sightseeing and I was pleasantly surprised by how wonderful it was. Rooms were very spacious, by Japanese standards, and our room on the 15th floor had a view of the harbour which was excellent!

A hidden gem! A fantastic Ryokan experience off the beaten track outside of the tourist highway!. Staff were amazing and very attentive to our every need. Most were not able to speak much english but with their enthusiasm and kindness we worked it all out. Highly recommend a stay here if you want to experience a traditional Ryokan. All meals are served in your room> They provide so much to make your stay pleasant from a massage chair, telescope and private hot bath all with the most beautiful view of the lake> Wish we could have stayed an extra night to soak up all the traditions and old Japanese customs

Our room was spectacular, it had everything and more. The hotel itself is really beautiful, there are no words to describe it. The staff were great, especially at the restaurant. We enjoyed all the thermal baths and the outdoor bathtub in our room. Dinner and breakfast were exquisite. Even though we were not used to the amount of dishes and the flavours of traditional Japanese breakfast, we appreciated the presentation and the service.

Staff were very personal, friendly, and welcoming. Facilities are clean and the room is more spacious than depicted in the photos. Dinner was very impressive. Hotel and staff seemed particularly generous. We were offered pick up/chauffeuring services without even asking for it. The tourist destinations/day trip suggested by the staff was also very informative and felt perfect.

The hotel is 5 min walking distance from the beach and the same distance to subway station, two very popular and decent restaurants (bills & double door). Room is spacious with great view of the island and extremely quiet. I've stayed at the hotel for two nights and everything is just perfect. Hope to return to Kamakura soon.

The food was outstanding as well as the experience of meal times, especially if you have dinner, which is well worth the cost. As good as any Michelin star restaurant with the added bonus of all-inclusive drinks during the meal. In addition the tea room was a nice experience with lots of choice and free after dinner drinks.

Great service! Classic Japanese luxury feel. We got the Senyu Japanese style room with hot spring bath in the room. Very spacious for our family of five. The breakfast buffet was awesome. I also tried the onsite public bath and it was great as well.

Close to the cruise ship terminal, easy to walk around to China town and along ocean side. The area was sad and clean. Across the street from museum and loads of great restaurants. The room is well laid out and clean. The staff excellent help. Check in on the second floor. Staff kept our luggage until check in. Yokohama is easy to get around at. No complaints

I didn't get further than Gora.

I didn't get further than Gora. I found it to be overcrowded and was glad to leave. I intended to spend some time in nature, but there are too many traffic jams and people. I was there on a Monday so I can't imagine what it would be like on the weekend. There are probably areas that are quieter, there was hard wind so the cable car didn't go and that led to more people driving up in cars and buses. I didn't have the Hakone Free Pass so I could just get on any bus and I was glad for that because there were a lot of people at bus stops who couldn't get into a bus because of their Free Pass.

Nice place to stay easy to reach by metro from Haneda. Easy to get to Tokyo and other interesting locations like Kamakura. Considerably less expensive than staying in Tokyo. Feels like a real Japanese city not touristy. Not a place to go if you are into big city commotion. The open air folk museum is excellent.

If you have been in Tokyo for enough time it is interesting to visit Kamakura where there are lovely Temples and gardens and it's not far to the beach. We were there for 3 days and that was enough to see everything on the list of attractions.

I like Fujisawa very much.

I like Fujisawa very much. The people there are very friendly and helpful, the city is green and very clean, i enjoyed eating wonderful Japanese food everyday during my stay at Fujisawa. i also enjoyed the ocean views during my visit of Enoshima and learned more of the local culture and history during my visits of several great Temples near Hase and Kamakura.

Local and quiet feel and opportunity to experience daily life. Only 45min from Tokyo and an easy stop on the way to Hakone and Odawara. The athletics park and nearby mountain park were 30min by bus from the city centre and great for nature and relaxing with friends/kids.

Our stay was excellent for me, location is near to public transportation (train) good restaurants are walkable and convinient stores too. The entire hotel is clean and offers good, delicious breakfast. Room was clean. Comfort room is kinda small but clean. Everything is excellent for me except the bed and pillows are not so soft.. because I was expecting a very soft pillows and bed but aside from that I enjoyed staying there. Staffs are so accommodating and very helpful too. I definitely recommend this hotel and surely I will come back here in my future vacation in Japan.

Hiratsuka offers a lot to travelers wanting to explore and be adventurous. Its proximity to places like Kamakura, Yokohama other places of interest makes it an excellent place to stay. The town is just the right size, friendly locals, shopping places and excellent places to eat. Walk around and get to know the place - you might find yourself wanting to visit again and again.

Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit.

Yokosuka is an awesome place to visit. There’s something for everyone whether you’re a nature lover or a city lover you’ll find something to do. During my visit. I went to kanonzaki park by bus and it was the highlight of my trip. It’s my second time visiting Yokosuka and can’t wait to go there again.
