Such a lovely get away ideally located between Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Beautiful Kymer styled house and garden grounds with a pool!!! Ideal for cycle tourers like us or motorcycle tourers. Sebastian and his wife were extremely welcoming and lovely hosts. Would love to stay again!

We have been in Silk Island Homestay again , now begin Feb 2025. Last year it was begin Feb too. There are 3 bedrooms ( for 3 x 2 people ) with airco and fan. There is a kitchenette with big fridge and 2 cooking pits. There is a big table, can be used by 8 people. The terras outside is great, a lot of space, most of the day in the shaddow thanks to it's roof and sometimes a nice cooling breeze. The landlady, speeking good english with cambodian accent, is utmost lovely, charming and helpsome. She gave us a warm welcome and it felt like good old friends. Dinners and breakfasts prepared by here are delicious, always with a lot of local fruit. It's an oasis of peace and silence, very quit during the day and night, fresh air and no pollution, no Phnom Penh chaos. And yet, the city is close by. Across the street is a small shop, where you can rent good bicycles too. The famous silk farm is only 10 minutes walk from here. Centre of Phnom Penh is about 30 min with tuktuk. Like for us, for the second time, your stay in this homestay willnadd much more cambodian feeling then a dull and unpersonal Phnom Penh hotel.

Spacious room, great shower and friendly staff. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet even though it is in the city. I love the trees and plants and the pool is also nice.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right at the entrance of the Royal Palace and just a few minutes walk to the National Museum. The room was spacious with great views to the pool and the Royal Palace. I really enjoyed the breakfast which had a huge variety. The staff at the Pool Bar and the Skybar were also very polite and helpful.

The food at the roof top restaurant was delicious. The front desk accommodated me with a last minute massage. The breakfast had many options to satisfy everyone's tastes. The view from the restaurant in the evening was spectacular. They also made a drink for me that wasn't on the menu which was the perfect night cap.
