The hotel was very new, luxurious and well situated. The room was very spacious and clean and had an amazing view. The breakfast as well as the pool was really nice as well and there was something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will book it again.

I couldn't sleep properly because I came to Korea. I came to this hotel and slept so comfortably for as long as 9 hours. It was convenient because there were three different Japanese restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Korean restaurants, and Western restaurants in the hotel. The price is also good and luxurious. There are two bottles of bottled water in the refrigerator, and coffee, green tea tea bags, and kettles in the drawer under the table. There are two luxury gowns in the market. The downside is that the outlet is not next to the bed and under the bedside table. And after the shower, water flows out of the washroom outside the shower room. I think it's because the water is powerful.

A perfect place for a visit to the city. Many hotels were around, plenty of korean meal restaurants were within 1-2 minutes by foot. The hotel was just off the main road, so it was quiet at night. The room was very spacious and clean. My mother had cold fever and the lovely receptionist raised the room/floor temperature, so we slept very warm. The breakfast buffet was excellent considering the room price. We would definitely come back when we visit Sooncheon again.

Owner was excellent and waited for our arrival, which was very good as we didn't know our arrival time for sure. Plenty of shops, including convenience stores, to get breakfast and lunch. Quiet location next to entrance for Meta Forest. Plenty of space for car parking. Small garden with fountain. Address is correct but sat-nav needed a different name to find it. Basically clean, warm and hot water.

This hotel was amazing. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. Beautiful view from our room. We requested extra towels and it was delivered immediately. The reception staff can speak English. 24 hour convenience store. We had a very tasty dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast is exceptional and well-organised. The lobby is so beautiful and impressive. Linen and room clean.

I was surprised how good this hotel was. Check-in was easy, the staff is kind and helpful. Our room was nice, spacious, well equipped and clean. We also had a beautiful view from the balcony. It really felt like it's a higher-end hotel. Breakfast was satisfying as well. The location is also good. I highly recommend this place!

A very beautiful seaside city in Korea. Really enjoyed visiting it. It has very gorgeous waterfront, and also many beautiful beaches and natural sceneries. A perfect city for a road trip or a vacation. Would definitely come back again!

Mokpo and the area is amazing. Lots of things to see and do.

Mokpo and the area is amazing. Lots of things to see and do. It is an area for driving as things are spread out, but lots to do and see in town with some great restaurants. Museums are good and touring the islands is a must do! Mokpo is a growing area that has much to offer. It isn't Seoul, but it is on one of the most picturesque regions of Korea. Take a day to travel the islands to the West, then another day South, then explore the mountains to the East. High-end hotels are in short supply in the area, but there a lot of good hotel options.

Things we enjoyed: Boat tour on the Suncheon Wetlands, hike up to Azalea Gardens, visiting farmers market, temples in Yeosu and north of Suncheon. Interesting restaurants, good bakeries. Meeting interesting people, mostly polite and friendly.

Relaxing and friendly place. Laid back fishing town. Great views from Wando Tower. Monorail to tower, zip line from tower to monorail for thrill seekers. Everything is walking distance. Plenty of places to eat especially if you want some sort of seafood which isn’t surprising given the number of fishing boats in the harbour.

Great if you like seafood because there were few places that offered other than seafood. Most of city opens or comes alive after five pm. Mornings are rather boring except for a boat tour and one museum. Expo was in 2012 which meant most of the center was closed or abandoned.

There is so much to do in this beautiful seaside town.

There is so much to do in this beautiful seaside town. From walking along the beautiful promenade to attending the incredible expos close to the station, there is a good balance of a peaceful seaside town (with an island you can walk to) and busy activity.

Suncheon is an unassuming town that has quote a few things worth seeing and doing, some take up quite a bit of time due to the activity itself and/or travel to and from the required location (eg wetlands and Yonsan Observatory, and Nagan Eupseong Folk Village). It's also got a lovely river worth walking or cycling along and they have the World Garden Expo on at present. You may wish to go ziplining and/or on a cable car ride, so the Geumosan Mountain Zip Wire near Jingyo is well worth the journey. The town is friendly, manageable and good for a few days.
