We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff are so lovely and helpful will everything you could need. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable, good aircon and spacious size. The pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The food was delicious and very well priced. The owner will organise anything you want to do - we did a safari which was amazing and well organised, picked up and dropped back off at the hotel and all tickets etc was sorted for us. The hotel organised amazing tours of Mihintale and the ancient temples with tuk tuk guide named Jaya - make sure to request Jaya as your tour guide! He was very kind and knowledgeable and we had the best time with him touring the beautiful temples.

So many wonderful details that made this our perfect stay: - 12 different bird sounds recorded during breakfast (we have an app) - Pool beautiful with lovely lounge chairs and shade umbrellas - EXCEPTIONAL FOOD! We ate breakfast lunch and dinner here our entire stay because it was so well done - Fresh cut flowers in the room - Full luscious live plants in the bathroom to mimic the beauty out our front patio - Large fridge and coffee and tea amenities - Luxurious stand alone tub under a sky light was well used by me - Soft full towels and bathmats - Very large room and bathroom which were both SPOTLESSLY CLEAN - CLOSE to everything one travels to Anuradhapura to see; not close to the town, but no need to go to the town - Each unit has its own koi pond with plants But the best of all was the warm and genuine service. Truly a diamond.

We had a wonderful stay at Yulawa Homestay. The rooms were very clean, and the location is perfect - close to the main sights and the Anuradhapura temple complex. Chaya was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She kindly arranged two rooms so our family could stay together and also shared great recommendations for exploring the area. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to join the cooking class, which was a real shame, as the breakfast she prepared was outstanding. There was a generous selection of fresh fruit, along with toast and eggs and delicious dhal cooked with just a gentle touch of spice for us to enjoy. The property itself is lovely, with a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. Our room was tidy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful and welcoming stay!

Accommodation in nature and absolute privacy. The owner and staff do their job 100% to make you feel like you're in a bubble. Big compliments to the chef. The accommodation has only 7 rooms so you are guaranteed privacy. There are monkeys and peacocks in the garden. I recommend it. We go to Sri Lanka often and we will definitely come back here.

Beautiful handmade cabin on the family plot. Its gorgeous inside and got nice finishing touches like cupboards, hanging spaces, mirrors and nice lighting. Really comfortable and nearly brand new. The family are gorgeous and made us an evening meal of local curry with many extras. Would recommend to anyone, it has 2 double beds and a large space. About 30 mins to Sigiriya Rock. Great value and they plan on building more in the plot in the future. .

The welcome and the service that we received were exceptional - unrivalled by any other hotel visited during three weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff were genuinely happy that we were their guest, and they were not afraid to show it. From the moment we arrived, they did everything and more to make sure that we were comfortable. The central courtyard garden lent the hotel an idyllic cosy community feel and allowed us to feel nicely isolated from the bustle of the streets outside. The pool area was scenic, the pool functional, and there were a bunch of sun beds from which to capture the sun as it moved above the tree line. One of us fell ill during our stay. The manager offered to take us to the hospital, assisted us there, and the entire team attended to us tirelessly day after day - including complimentary afternoon tea in our room. Bicycles were available to borrow to get around and see the various fascinating heritage sites - and we'd really recommend using them! Breakfast was predominantly Euro-continental, incredibly generous, and tastier than anything else we had in Sri Lanka outside of 5* hotels. Dinner was tasty too. The menu was diverse and competitively priced. Table service was exquisite. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and secure. The location was great - perfectly situated for exploring town, set back from the road so as to be silent at night, and with quick access to the lake on foot. A beautiful gaggle of peacocks graces the gardens. The hotel arranged our onward travel to Trincomalee in a comfortable car at a competitive price.

Staff is JUST AMAZING !!! Saranga was always checking on us to ensure we are enjoy our stay. All the staff is very friendly and receptionists are so welcoming and helpful. Food was delicious and there were lot for tourist to try out Sri Lankan cuisine. We got a chance to experience boat ride in the lake next to hotel. There was nothing to complain about. We thoroughly enjoy our stay and it is very nature friendly place. We highly recommend this place to all whoever like to enjoy peaceful, nature based stay.

Fantastic location and very nice rooms. The breakfast was faboluos, very tasty Sri Lankan food. The staff was super helpful, they helped us with everything. Organised a tuk-tuk, took us to places, helped with transport. They even went to the pharmacy for us to buy some treatment for bad joints.

I think the hotel was good value for money. I liked the location- it was an easy drive to the Anuradhapura Buddhist Temple (well worth visiting at night) and to the Wilpattu Wildlife Park (also worth a visit - we were lucky enough to see a leopard!)

Habarana is a small town located at a crossroads and a main...

Habarana is a small town located at a crossroads and a main road. It is therefore very accessible to other important cities, such as Polonnaruwa, Trincomalee, Dambulla, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, etc. As well as to the natural parks, which are located nearby. Public transport is perfectly provided. The town has the necessary facilities such as shops, a bank, a post office, a doctor, etc. The beautiful surrounding nature, and easily accessible lakes, are also an advantage.

This is Sri Lanka's ancient capital. It is known for its architectural genius and sophisticated irrigation network. Anuradhapura gives a glimpse of Sri Lanka's rich heritage and thus is an excellent location for the tourist to start a visit to Sri Lanka.

Farm Cottage was peaceful and very comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, and the surroundings were quiet and relaxing. The host was friendly and helpful. A perfect place to unwind – I’d definitely stay again!

During my stay, the property owner made several...

During my stay, the property owner made several inappropriate and judgmental comments about my affordability and my decision to share meals with my mother, who is disabled. His behaviour was rude and discriminatory. After I posted my review describing my disappointment, the owner contacted me directly on my personal mobile number using very abusive and offensive language. This message was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe.

Good location to visit the National parks where Elephants roam. Take a short drive to Ritigala and be amazed at the heritage site of a millenia old large forest monastery. Dine at the Ran Rasa restaurant for one of the best Chicken Koththus you will taste..
