The staff are extremely polite and helpful, and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic! The rooms are very very modern and nicely appointed with smart TVs, mood lightning, the works. Beds are medium-soft and don't have that annoying split down the middle. The restaurant staff were willing to accommodate our every wish and desire, they are an example of how to do things right.

    An excellent stay in a quiet and quaint location. The restaurant is very good with a nice selection of seasonal and local foods. There also is a possibility to go for a morning swim in the heated indoor pool. In the warmer months you could also go for the swim in the pond. The staff is helpful and very accommodating. In the room we also enjoyed local herbal tea gathered by the manor's staff. For extra relaxation book the spa and the massages.

And the owner is super nice , I have zero negative things to say about this place , You got everything you need + you can take a hot tub , which you should , because it’s so romantic and and relaxing and you won’t find a place with a hot tub anywhere cheaper.     The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and overall fantastic. Very comfy bed, great shower with a bathtub, and the breakfast buffet had so many delicious options. I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. The staff also happily printed out my flight boarding pass for me. Location is perfect and I'd happily book here for future visits to Riga.

    WE LOVED IT! The location was just amazing, near the old town, we could walk everywhere, also 3 min walking from bus station. The room was just amazing, 10/10. Also the breakfast was really good, a lot to choose from. We really liked that we could leave our luggage in the hotel free of charge after or chect out! Recommend it 100%!

    Owner is really taking care about this place. Some drunk Russian idiots were drinking heavenly on the site, so as they were getting problematic owner asked them to leave. Really nice place, calm, no drunk people around, will definitely come back.

    Lovely location! Dog friendly area and the yard of the cottage had fences. Cottage had everything we needed for staying a night. The host was really friendly and helpful. Amazing view from bedroom which had a big window to the lake.

    Beautiful city with one of the best old towns in Europe. Great for walking around, grabbing a coffee and chilling. It's a nice spot to take it easy. I went for dancing and for football and thoroughly enjoyed it there. Getting around is so simple, buses and lime scooters.

    There is spa available for day pass £25 for adult for 2.5 hours in Jurmala Spa hotel. No need to book in, walk in welcome. Excellent facilities and kids friendly lots to do. I went twice wile on my trip. Lots of lovely restaurants, bubs and shops to explore for all liking. You can have lovely walk on the beach, it has activitys available and Caffè to enjoy during and view even if it's windy.

    I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

    Great small town.

    Great small town. Big attractions are the castle; the forest walks for hikers; the nearby outdoor activity centre with kayaking etc; lovely restaurants and cafes - good food but not expensive. Friendly people, courteous drivers, feels very safe to stroll around.

    In march the was not much happening in the town. Rates Varti restaurant was cosy but the dishes were served almost cold. The lunch in the Wolmar Hotel cost only 6 euros beeing well worth it. The Olympic Casino was a strange place for gambling addicts.

    A hidden pearl of Latvia and Old Livonia with an island resort in the middle. Despite being almost 200 km from the seashore the city had an inspiring shore holiday feel with a great beach side island in the middle of the city. Great place to learn about the history and the origin of written Latvian language.

    Oņegins of the mosties beautiful citu in Latvia, with great authentic Old Town, Medņevas Castle, museum and cool exhibition halls. Also, events are perfect in conret hall "Cesis". I attended opera "Parcifal" 09.08.2025 in there and this only Oņegins great example of how much interesting events are took place in the town during entire year.
