This type of hotel suits me perfectly. The location in the transit zone of the airport, for late and early flights is excellent. Cleanliness is the highest rating, breakfast is all fresh. As for 3 start hotel, this was better than I expected. What stood out was the design of the hotel, that pictures don't capture. Rooms basic, mattresses are comfy and sparkling clean. The only down side was no kettle / tea / coffee in the room but stuff enthusiastically provided with hot water. The restaurant is worth of extra mentioning. Everything was excellent - staff, food and wines. Breakfast was also very satisfying. Highly recommend this place.

    Lovely location! Dog friendly area and the yard of the cottage had fences. Cottage had everything we needed for staying a night. The host was really friendly and helpful. Amazing view from bedroom which had a big window to the lake.

    Beautiful city with one of the best old towns in Europe. Great for walking around, grabbing a coffee and chilling. It's a nice spot to take it easy. I went for dancing and for football and thoroughly enjoyed it there. Getting around is so simple, buses and lime scooters.

    There is spa available for day pass £25 for adult for 2.5 hours in Jurmala Spa hotel. No need to book in, walk in welcome. Excellent facilities and kids friendly lots to do. I went twice wile on my trip. Lots of lovely restaurants, bubs and shops to explore for all liking. You can have lovely walk on the beach, it has activitys available and Caffè to enjoy during and view even if it's windy.

    I like the hotel because of its location, cleanliness and customer service at the reception. I did not like the restaurant and its staff because they do not serve enough food at the breakfast even though you pay for it. If you do not go to breakfast early, you only get some leftovers. They do not bring any additional food for missing items.

    Great small town.

    Great small town. Big attractions are the castle; the forest walks for hikers; the nearby outdoor activity centre with kayaking etc; lovely restaurants and cafes - good food but not expensive. Friendly people, courteous drivers, feels very safe to stroll around.

    In march the was not much happening in the town.

    In march the was not much happening in the town. Rates Varti restaurant was cosy but the dishes were served almost cold. The lunch in the Wolmar Hotel cost only 6 euros beeing well worth it. The Olympic Casino was a strange place for gambling addicts.

    A hidden pearl of Latvia and Old Livonia with an island resort in the middle. Despite being almost 200 km from the seashore the city had an inspiring shore holiday feel with a great beach side island in the middle of the city. Great place to learn about the history and the origin of written Latvian language.

I attended opera "Parcifal" 09.08.2025 in there and this only Oņegins great example of how much interesting events are took place in the town during entire year.
