We extended our stay immediately after checking in! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room and facilities were beautiful. The outdoor area including outdoor showers, surfboard racks and an area to hang your wetsuits after surfs is a fantastic addition that we appreciated a lot. We can't wait to be back!

Great location near the souk, bars with food and taxi. Rooms bigger than usually in Morocco, comfortable beds, air-conditiong + working Wi-fi in all building. Bathrooms with towels, soaps in small bottles and what is most important: hot water in taps which is not so obvious in Morocco. Personell comunicates well in English and is really helpful, advices on prices, means of transport etc. For me: it is perfect place for a few days stay.

The hotel is just perfect. We stayed for two nights during our motorcycle trip around Marocco and Western Sahara. The stay was intended to load our internal baterries and have some rest after tiresome desert riding. There are two things I do not understand: why the hotel is not 5 star and why there are some opinions here on booking that are not "10". The staff, facilities and service are flawless. The food & drinks choice and quality is also very good. We booked two standard rooms and altghough I travel a lot I do not remember having such a big and well decorated rooms in any of the 5 star hotels I stayed in. Altoghether the stay was well worth the money spent. Congratulations to the management for such a great service level!

Everything was perfect in this hotel. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we needed medical care, because my partner had a bad chest infection. The hotel had a nurse service.They organised a doctor visit and also the medication was delivered in our door immediately. Thank you for the staff and quick medical help we enjoyed our holiday continuously.At the reception they do everything for you and give you support all the time. Fantastic hotel and we will go back again.

The staff were very friendly and receptive to providing support. Front desk staff were awesome from the beginning. The "Animation" staff put on a lovely dance shoe=w for Valentines Day.....so much fun. Khadija provided an Arabic lesson, which was so helpful. She is an excellent teacher, providing lots of support and advice. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable; and it faced the ocean, with a beautiful terrace.

There is a good selection of restaurants.

There is a good selection of restaurants. The beach is a beautiful expanse of sand. Begging is on the rise, but its respectful. Taxis are easy and great value, specially the orange ones. The airport is only an easy 30minutes drive from the centre of the city. There has been significant development of infrastructure around the beaches. A lot of money has been spent on landscaping and providing sporting facilities.

Great hippie surfer vibes, such a friendly place. Beach is great and sea was wonderful. Town doesn't really have any places to exchange currency so have to use ATM which have extra charges per transaction. No supermarkets to buy alcohol so stock up in either Agadir or best of all in duty free.

Beautiful little coastal town.

Beautiful little coastal town. We were only there for the surf. The bay is perfect for all level surfers, especially long-boarders. Beautiful cafes and restaurants around with epic Moroccan food as well as some western options. Everything is walking distance which is amazing.

There are some great surf spots within a short drive and good value restaurants. Beyond this, there is not much to do. The neighboured seems safe though is a little dirty. There are some very friendly locals though it feels like most just want to make money out of you rather than have a genuine interaction. There are also unofficial 'parking attendants' everywhere who force you to pay to park in free parking areas.

The instructors were friendly and professional, making it easy to learn and improve. The location offers beautiful waves suitable for all levels, and the relaxed atmosphere made the stay very enjoyable. Breakfast each morning was delicious and energizing, perfect for starting the day’s surf. Highly recommend for a fun and memorable surf adventure!

Riad was authentic Moroccan style. Loved being there. Ocean was close by - about 7 minutes walk - and we loved being on the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Guided hiking was great and we enjoyed bartering in the souk in Agadir. We visited a women's collective on our way to the anti Atlas with great organic oils and an educational tour of the gardens. That was fabulous - no pushy selling. We ate mainly in the hotel but there were many good places to eat inexpensively near by. Getting around was easy - taxi for us. We liked walking in the village for an authentic sense of Moroccan life for ordinary people.

Imi ouaddar isn’t a true representation of what I think Morocco is like. It’s soulless, lacks charm and I would recommend visiting somewhere else if asked. It’s a massively rushed developed area without any thought or interest in what I would say in its truest self, the real Morocco.

We've been to Agadir/Taghazout/Essaouira etc (and Marrakech!

We've been to Agadir/Taghazout/Essaouira etc (and Marrakech!) probably 20 times in past 25 years so know the area pretty well. Despite 3 hr drive each way, Essaouira is an absolutely fabulous historical town though possibly a little over-developed now outside the Medina, well worth a (long) day trip

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is...

Booking.com 's representation of where this apartment is is totally inaccurate.They show it as being in the middle of Taghazout. It is not, it is miles from anywhere. £8 in a taxi to get into Taghazout, no real restaurants or shops near by. Contacted the apartment agents but the lady was so rude and unhelpful. We ended up having to move to Agadir and having to spend extra money on a hotel. Totally disappointed in booking .com. Looking for some kind of compensation as we are £300 out of pocket because we had to book a hotel as we could not spend 9 days in the middle of nowhere.Totally misled by booking.com's picture of the location of the apartment.
