The night we had at auberge le festival has been the highlight of our trip to morocco. Very Remote and beautifull location and the family who lives there are the best hosts. The dinner was very good and they played music at night which was a fantastic experience. We had a Cave room which was surprisingly temperate despite it being winter.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything from the warm welcome to the comfortable setting exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, beautifully maintained and the entire hotel carried a subtle, personalized scent that added a touch of luxury to the experience. We had a very pleasant stay at this family run Kasbah. Run by a family with both European and local roots, it creates the perfect blend of Western and African influences. Such an amazing hotel! We spent two days, and we simply loved everything. The staff is super friendly and supportive (thank you!), the hotel is inside an old Kasbah with a labyrinth of amazing rooms and terraces. The swimming pool is as beautiful as in the pictures. The view of the palmeraie and mountains is stunning. Dinner was great too, we have eaten here the best tajines of our trip in Morocco (with huge portions)... We were given a room update as some rooms were empty... There are plenty of interesting Kasbah and villages to visit in the beautiful Draa Valley...not to be missed...

The whole place is impeccably clean and the cottages are arranged in a spaceous garden which surrounds the pool. The room's interior is lovingly decorated and every door is an exquisite piece of art. From the terrace on the roof you will overlook a palm grove with a backdrop of desert mountains. Delicious and plentiful breakfast. Freshly pressed orange juice! Very friendly and helpful staff. No wishes remain unfulfilled.

Personal touch: Mimoun rang us up before we arrived in Nkob to tell us he will be waiting for us at the bus station to take us to the hotel by foot. We were offered hospitality by being given tea served on the wonderful terrace where uninterrupted views of the picturesque parts of Nkob can be admired. The buiding: La perle de Saghro is a typical casbah house. It has a wealth of original features. The building is being restored in its past splendour in a traditional way. Our room was very comfortable and was very morrocan in traditional casbah style. The room was opening into a pretty coutyard stocked with plants and bushes.The ceiling was supported by palm tree beams. It was great to spend a night inside the casbah. The hotel was quiet, and the staff was responsive. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty. Knob has plenty of traditional architecture. People take pride in their culture and are happy to share information with strangers. Our only regret is not having prolonged our stay at this hotel.

Stayed in 6 different hotels on a 10 day road trip in Morocco and Riad Rihana was by far the best on every level. All staff working at the hotel were fantastic, genuinely welcoming and friendly. We felt completely at home and nothing was too much bother, everything done with smiles and laughs. Big shout out to Zachary who took us on a guided walk up the gorge which we loved. Zachary was funny, friendly, considerate and very informative about the area and history of the Berber people. He also built a small fire and brewed up some delicious thyme tea, our favourite tea of the trip. When we returned from our hike another lovely member of staff (sorry, forgotten your name!) brought delicious chilled juice to our room, so kind and thoughtful! The decor was fresh, new in a pleasant rustic style. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable with an amazing view from the balcony. The restaurant was very cosy and there is also a lovely terrace to eat outside with those fantastic views. The food was delicious and the breakfast was the best of all we had on our 10 day trip. Nice wine and beer served in restaurant or to your room. Loved the Dades Valley area and Riad Rihana is perfectly located to explore it. Will definitely be staying here again!
