We were a group of 12 people with 6 rooms and everyone was so satisfied. The rooms, food and service could not be better! We had ATM and taxi service next door which is extremely convenient. There is also a small nice supermarket close by which has all you need. I recommend El Toro with all my heart and especially if you come from the Nordics where needs are a bit different. Special thanks to Mohamed and Dounia who were always willing to help in any situations. 10/10!

had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The receptionist, Hazem, noticed that my birthday had just passed the day before I arrived and surprised me with a cake delivered to my room;such a thoughtful gesture. To make things even more special, the owner personally offered us free drinks to celebrate. The entire place was spotless, very well maintained, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and respectful. From start to finish, it felt warm and welcoming.

Absolutely gorgeous place with lots of lovely little touches. Great location, just around the corner from the beach and Medina in a quiet street. Amazing breakfast, pool and beautiful big modern rooms with traditional touches. The owners absolutely made it amazing though. As a female solo traveler, it was just such an oasis of calm after a hectic time and everything felt easy. The owners even picked me up from the station and helped me do laundry. 100% recommend.

This is my second time visiting Chefchaouen. It's a fantastic experience staying in this family-run hotel. The host Ahmed is the most passionate guy I have ever met. Gave us all the necessary, no-nonsense, thorough, and current advices about touring Chefchaouen. They even set up a nice kitchen in the rooftop, which is not common here, so we can enjoy breakfast conveniently. The location is a little away from the touristic medina. But it's just a safe, short 10-15 minute walk. We did it twice. You just have to follow the major road. Or you can take a cheap taxi ride, around 20-30 MAD. Ahmed help us get the taxi twice going to the medina. Going back with taxi is no problem either. All our two taxi drivers know the place well. Overall, it's a nice place, and super value stay.

    It is on the hill side with the view of the city. Walking distance to Medina and the Bouzafer Mosque. We were upgraded to a suite and it was beautiful, spacious and clean. It had a balcony with view of the city. The staff were extremly helpful in getting a taxi very early in the morning for our bus from Chefchaouene.

    The best part of the hotel; are the staff. Extremely professional, very friendly, helpful and genuine. The hotel is outside the busy Tanger area but just 10 mins drive to city. The rooms are well equipped, nice pools and clean. The best part is ample parking with 24 hrs security.

    Stayed for 3 days. There is not much sightseeing. Food & shopping is cheap. I would say avoid shopping from grand socco & rather shop from a local market such as Casabarata Market. They had everything there & cheaper. Hammam is a must! Do buy skincare & bath & Body products. Visit to chefchaueon was good. I would recommend to take a private taxi than a bus, taxi's are cheaper

    The medina was really nice to wander through and we liked the fact that it went right down to the ocean. The murals on the walls made it unique and it was nice to discover new ones. The small beach was easy to get to and it was easy from Asilah to get to the airport. A nice stay which was a very different experience to staying in Tangier

    Martil has a beautiful beach with golden sand and it is a great option to spend summer vacation, safe, people are friendly, and there is so much to do nearby like vising Cabo negro, Tres Peidras, Jebha, Chefchaouen, Tangier and other great places in northern Morocco. There's a wide range of food variety from Mediterranean to Asian and it is very affordable.

    I already went to the hotel with my colleagues for a conference, and I liked the venue so much that I wanted to take my kids there, too. The place is large and very welcoming. The view of the pool, gardens and sea is really breathtaking. The rooms are large and comfortable. The included breakfast is really good and the service is excellent. There are two little things I did not expect, which disturbed me a little but would not change my positive opinion of the place. First, during the check-in, I was asked to add a further amount than what was proposed on my booking, as a deposit for any extra service I may ask for. Because I wasn't ready for that, I didn't have the full amount on me, so that was a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me. I had to sit in the lounge and figure out a way to have the missing amount transferred to my bank account. On the check-out, I was told that they'd return the deposit amount to my account, which hasn't happened yet, so I'll have to wait and see. I would have appreciated knowing about this procedure here on booking.com to avoid the unpleasant surprise on the spot. The second thing was a small leak in the toilet. I would have appreciated some sort of a mop or cleaning towel ready and available in the bathroom, meanwhile the leak gets fixed, so that I would manage the leak before it built up and avoid having to ask or wait for the hotel cleaner to show up. Having said this, I'm still very happy with my stay at the hotel, rank it 10, would definitely go back there and recommend it to my relatives and friends. Thank you!

    The little town is worth visiting for one hour.

    The little town is worth visiting for one hour. The location is ideal. This is the nearest hotel to borders. You should really avoid it, unless you are broke and want to spend the night for 15 euros. There can't be place like this. It reminds me of India.

    The ancient site of Lixus is amazing and makes going to...

    The ancient site of Lixus is amazing and makes going to Larache worthwhile. The Plaza Espana in the modern town is very atmospheric. There are a few rather run-down hotels in this area. The Medina is quite small and easy to navigate - but it is very squalid. A daytrip from Asilah to Larache and Lixus would be the best bet - overnight is difficult.

    Nice city but difficult to navigate. Taxi service very shady and often will only accept cash. The taxi drivers assumed we were dumb and would try to drive us in circles. I would see them pass my restaurant and act like they didnt see it. Getting them to correct was not easy.Tangier needs to get a handle on that. Also tipping for us was a problem as we tend to tip on bill and not carry as much cash but Tangier does not work like that thus making us exchange $ over and over at a loss. I also did not feel safe carrying larger amounts of cash.
