The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Great location , Very good Value for money, Great Great staff, special thanks to Maheesh in Main Resteurant for his amazing personality and hospitality.. the welcoming from the airport by Ali Nisar and he also took care of us on our way back to the airport he was with us until the airline check in, it almost feels like he is a family member giving us a ride to the airport. The resort is really luxary level 5 stars, the food was really good (we booked all inclusive). We were with two children 6 and 5 y and they had a great time in the kids club. The guys their love kids and very friendly and their schedule is great, special thanks to the artest in the art studio Hubee for his above and beyond care for our children. The snorkling house reef tour is breath-taking and beyound words and highly recommended (snorkling equipment is complementary). There is a mosque in the island as well which is nice. It was my wifes birthday and they made a special villa bed preparation as a surprise without even asking, and even sent a cake to our villa.. the mosquitos in the island is surprisingly under control compared to other tropical locations (you can still get bothered by it but in a normal level). Yoga sessions unfortunatly is only three times a week and with prior reservation. (Free) .. I got the chance to attend one and it was very nice and the instructor was really good.

How can a post give this resort the proper review it deserves, I truly wonder but I’ll give it a shot so here we go.
This was probably my wife and I 6th vacation spent at luxury resort across the Far East /Indian Ocean area, even the Mediterranean and hands down this is by far the BEST most memorable vacation we’ve experienced so far and credit goes entirely to the brilliant service we’ve received.
Not only were the facilities and water villa we stayed at impeccable and beautiful but gosh the service we’ve received, the warmth of the staff, the attention to details, the fantastic tasty meals we’ve had - not a single food item we’ve consumed was below fantastic-.
The attention and hospitality we’ve received from the resort resident manager Mr. Fernando was truly unparalleled. So friendly, professional and courteous we’ve decided to come back in 4 weeks!
Shout out to Amir from the Fushi Cafe who made us feel so welcomed. We look forward to his lovely chats and seeing him again soon.
To all of those perfectionists looking to spend a relaxing holiday with unparalleled luxury service, this is your go to resort. Don’t hesitate.

From the food, to the facilities, to the location, the view and the people, everything was absolutely perfect! All those working at the resort made sure to greet you, hello, good morning, afternoon and asking how you are. On our short 5 nights at Dhonveli we made some great friends, to name a few we had Hassaan who greeted us upon arrival, took myself and my mother on a private tour around the local island Huraa and generally just did everything he could for us throughout (including arranging with another resort for our transfer, getting us a very nice discount)!!. Such a lovely man, and made our stay feel that much more personal! Also Lyn, a very kind caring lady and last but not least Lassan, our waiter for every meal! Always smiling, always making sure your drinks are topped up, and just doing everything he can possibly do for us within the restaurant. Would go back to Dhonveli in a heartbeat, you feel so at home so quickly! Perfect place for relaxation, but also sooo much to do IF you wanted to! Personally I could spend my day watching the surfers out on Pasta Point and snorkelling around the beach looking at all the underwater wildlife!

Stayed in the water bungalow and it was great experience. The glass in the floor to see the fish especially at night time was amazing.
You can snorkel in the reef just outside the island. The snorkeling gear was free if you stayed more than one night. The snorkeling was fantastic- so many fish including several smaller sharks that passed by the reef.
Great food and lots of choices. The staff was very helpful to accommodate food allergies (nuts and peanuts)
Everyone was very friendly and making your stay special.

Incredible place. The island is very close to Male (about 20 minutes by boat) - and you find yourself in a paradise full of plants and crystal clear ocean. The villas are located on the water or by the bay, with a private beach. very beautiful private reef with many underwater inhabitants. very tasty food in restaurants. and very nice and professional staff (special thanks to Daria, Sujata and Hasan). I rarely write so many "very" in reviews, but Baros Maldives deserves it.

I loved the hospitality of all the staff of Arena. It is the best hotel in complete Maldives. I call say this with surety because I stayed in so many hotels includingkaani palm at Mahfushi. Maafushi was a big island.
Maafushi was a big island. I didn't like it because it was all under construction. It was a big construction site. Very big buildings which ruined the whole image of a small exotic island. I didn't feel like I was in the Maldives and it didn't offer me what I imagined. In general, be careful of buyers, they will try to exploit you and sell you expensively.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Great local island, it's big enough to have some great restaurants/hotels and small enough to feel like you're seeing how the locals really live. Located within the atoll perfectly, for short hops to resort islands and excursions. 45 mins from male airport.

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
