NetherlandsWe stayed at the beach club, which is just a short walk from the main hotel. You can use all facilities of the main hotel. The room is very comfortable (balcony a bit small). Staff of the hotel is excellent! Both the staff at the reception, cleaning of the room and kitchen are extremely helpful and friendly. Food (buffet style) was included in our booking and every time we looked forward to this. You won’t be disappointed booking this accommodation!

Slovakiavery nice accommodation, the island is peaceful, the island is really very nice and the accommodation is in the most beautiful place. the owner of the accommodation is a very nice person and everything in the hotel works great. we also had a reservation for the transfer so we had one less thing to worry about. for breakfast we had great eggs with fruit and in the restaurant we also tried fish tartare and massuni for dinner, the food was great and the restaurant is beautiful.

GermanyWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was very good and positive, from the friendly staff to the clean rooms. There was nice music playing in front of the restaurant, and a beautiful bar on the sand right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff who served it were excellent.
We were traveling with our 5-month-old baby, and eating breakfast was a bit challenging. For a few minutes I would hold the baby while my wife ate, then we would switch so I could eat. During this time, one staff member named Anis from Bangladesh, an incredibly kind and caring person, offered to hold our baby so we could eat properly. I have never experienced such kindness anywhere before.
In the evenings, when we were at the bar having drinks, the same staff member again offered to take care of the baby so we could relax and enjoy our time. This level of service and care is truly exceptional.
The hotel also provided a baby crib, which was beautifully decorated and made us feel very welcome as a family.
The hotel offers a transfer service from the port when you arrive by speedboat, including help with your luggage. The same driver can take you to Bikini Beach, although it’s really not necessary because the beach is only a 3-minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, especially because of the amazing staff. We highly recommend it, especially for families with small children.

From end to end, our stay at Anantara Dhigu was smooth, relaxing and beautiful. Firstly, the resort staff is there for you from arrival until the check-in at the airline desk. I didn’t see many other resort providing this level of service to the other tourists lining up at the airport. You are greeted on arrival and the boat trip to the resort is only a little bit over half an hour, making it very convenient after traveling long haul.
We stayed in an over water sunset villa and it was simply stunning. Some have hammock nets over the water and some have pools, both options looked lovely depending on your personal preference/need. The villa is clean and spacious, and is decorated tastefully. It feels very private and the view was beautiful.
We opted for the half board option and that suited us well. We mostly ate at Fushi Cafe with the exception of one lunch at Aqua and one dinner at Baan Huraa but those just didn’t live up to the exceptional food at Fushi Cafe. There was a lot of choice as well as variation from day to day.
The resort itself is very well designed and there is plenty of exploring to do, both on land and in water. As it sits in a lagoon, it also provides for shelter from wind on one side even on the windier days. Our villa for example tended to get a lot of wind but when dining at Fushi Cafe on the other side of the island, it was very peaceful. It is also easy to wade in the water to snorkel island and snorkel in the coral reef there. There is a pontoon constantly operating between Dhigu and Veli making it very easy to go to the other island. Compared to the other resorts I think this location within the lagoon and spanning over several islands makes it so interesting and unique.
There are so many things I could mention but these are what were really memorable and noteworthy, as well as the staff of course who are very polite and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

It was our first time in Maldives. We were fascinated by the beauty of the island, but we were also impressed by the hospitality of the hotel. It`s very nice that at the airport there are people who meet you and lead you to a speedboat. You don`t need to worry about how to get to the hotel, everything is already arranged for you. What I also liked is the check-out process. My flight back home was 9pm (pretty late). I was allowed to stay on the territory of the hotel until 6 pm (yes I had to return the room key at 12pm, but I still could enjoy the services of the bar, the beach. This is incredible! ) Before arriving at the hotel, I had some questions which were answered in a timely and clear manner.
Especially, I would like to mention the friendliness of the resort staff. Those are people who made our vacation so enjoyable. Cinnamon Dhonveli should be happy to have Ratiqul! He is a warm-hearted, sincere man. And he makes really delicious cocktails! Our waiter (sorry I don`t remember his name) was also very friendly and knew our preferences very well. It was very nice to see him meet us every time we came to the restaurant for a meal.
Everything was excellent - food (the variety of food is good, I always wanted to try a bit of everything so delicious it looked), room (design, location, room cleaning - amazing), activities (I didn`t bring a book with me and how happy I was to see that I could choose one there!; we played badminton every day, we tried tennis and pingpong; I also went to gym a couple of times). This is great because when you get tired of sunbathing and swimming, you can do something else.
It was an excellent vacation, we really enjoyed our staying at Cinnamon Dhonveli.

First of all I would like to appreciate all the staff of kaani for their hospitality. Top notch. We stayed at kaani Beach hotel 103.108.109 from 15 to 18th. What a service.
Start with the Mr Tiger, from male, incharge of the hotel. But he was everywhere from the receiving of the guest till we get dropped to the boat he was absolutely on every service we needed. God bless you my friend.
The receptionist Suman from Nepal, absolutely amazing lady helped us through all the process to the booking and all the things we needed.
Restaurent stuff, Aditya from nepal what an amazing personality and hospitality. Along with his team jowel, rony, anisur from Bangladesh. Provided us with the best private beach dinning experience we have ever experienced. The island tour guides' boat mans were amazing through out the trips.

What an amazing experience! Jacuzzi Water Villa was great, the level of attention to details is something I have never experienced in other hotels. From spotlights to observe marine life at night to jars of water to clean your feet at each room entrance, everything was carefully thought. The view, bed, porch, shower, jacuzzi were all amazing. Food was delicious with a LOT of different options. Lunch was provided before check-in and after check-out which was pretty generous. A hot shower is provided after check-out if you want to enjoy the sea/pool before going back to the airport. Staff is extremelly kind and helpful, always with a smile. I really don't have much to say. It is an expensive splurge but very much worth it!

Just a perfect hotel on the beach close to all the restaurants. My room was specious with a stunning view. It's super clean and the brekfast is just amazing.All transfers from Male and back were organized by hotel Arena. The staff is extremly kind and a special shout out to Ruwan who was extremly kind and always available if I needed help. All tours and atractions can be booked from the hotel reception so you don't have to worry much:). My second time in Maafushi was so much better thanks to Arena hotel and Ruwan. Can't wait to go back. Love u guys. Hope you are fully booked these days.xx

Thank you for fast and smooth boat transfer, did’t have to wait at Male airport. Also thank you for early check-in so we could enjoy the holiday as soon as possible (this is the thing that is not usually available in hotels).
We got villa 181 with beautiful sand beach and view with sea and palms. Not windy, calm & clear water.
The island has about 15 beaches, explored them all by bicycle or walk. The beaches were really beautiful.
Delicious food at breakfast and Rhabarbaro restaurant for dinner. Especially like breakfast buffet with choice of a la carte menu.

Our stay in Olhuveli was very pleasant. We stayd in Grand water villa on Dream island. The villa was cozy and clean and Dream island was peacefull, just what we were looking for.
Staff was friendly.
Special thanks for housekeeping team and espesially for Mahmoud. He was very helpfull and friendly and made our holiday perfect. He's a real diamond.
Malaafaiy restaurant was great. Food was tasty and service excellent. So special thanks go's also to Babul. He surprised us with unforgettable beautiful setting on our last evening and we was served superb by him.

A small island so easy to explore. 15 minutes from airport so easy to travel with family esp children. Food is amazing esp the sea food, drinks are great, staff is super friendly & responsive. Maldives is all about its private Islands. Fihalhohi island provides an surreal experience with its views and amenities. The food was top class, the room was very clean. The view all around the island were breathtaking.

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in...
I absolutely loved my time in Thulusdhoo - my first time in the Maldives! I feel I picked a fabulous island to spend 4 days of relaxation and calmness following a busy elective healthcare placement.
The island was so beautiful and peaceful. The beaches were so clean, white sands, the water was crystal clear, all sun-loungers free to use and very friendly locals and business owner stalls, businesses, and restaurants. A couple I met whilst away also got engaged on sunset beach with the most beautiful backdrop (a real must to visit during the evenings)!
Plenty of places to choose from to eat - from beach bars to evening dining. I went to Juice Bench every day for lunch, the staff were so kind and smiley and the food was delicious and fresh. I also ate dinner at Indulge (10/10 pizza!), Cafe Bandaha for dinner, amazing tikka masala curry and the freshest apple juice! (Breakfast was included in my hotel - Eden Blue - which I also highly recommend!).
I took two excursions with Baani Watersports - first the reef shark and stingray trip, which was absolutely amazing! The second trip was the sandbank and turtles trip, again - amazing! The team were very friendly, fun, and ensured we were looked after throughout. They took fabulous photo's of us all on their gopro which they sent to us afterwards free of charge. I also found their pricing very competitive!
Getting around the island is easy peasy. I walked every day, it is quite small so can be easily lapped in around 45 minutes of strolling. People were also using mopeds and bicycles. I also received a complementary shuttle service from the ferry port to my accommodation and back which was a very welcomed bonus.
Overall, the island is wonderful, the people are so lovely, and I'm SO glad I picked this island to spend my 4 days! I hope to be back one day soon - perhaps with someone next time so I have a companion in the evenings when it's a little quieter!

Gulhi exuded a lot of the island vibes when we compared to our stay in Male and Ulkuhas. It didn't have too much construction ongoing so it wasn't that noisy with minimal debris going around. The beaches are really nice to walk around and lie around too. Snorkelling here is fun too since the shallow parts extend quite a distance before it goes into the coral reef cliff. Excursions here are nice as well since you get to experience snorkelling with nurse sharks, stingrays, and manta rays. Mantas of course are by luck where was the former are usually attracted via feeding. Food-wise, Dolce Vita is a mut-go since the chef is really good (would suggest local dishes, naan+butter chicken, noodles,), price is reasonable, ambience is perfect, and they do not charge any additional fee at all for card payments!

Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

It was a lovely island friendly people & I think I stayed in the best place for me on this island my host were fantastic, they could not of done more to make my stay any better than it already was 10/10 perfect 😍
I loved all the food I had @ Indian cafe,loved swimming @ the local beach, not bikini beach
One thing I really disliked was Moscow yeda they tried to double charge me on my credit card when I asked them about 6 of them just started laughing, eventually I got my money back & that was the only bad experience on the whole island.
