The hotel is great and offers excellent value for money. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. While the decor and furnishings are not the newest, they are still in good condition and maintain a cozy atmosphere. The pool is large and well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available. However, some of them didn’t have mattresses, which made lounging a bit less comfortable. The location is convenient, even if you’re relying on a car that’s not in the best condition. Everything essential for a relaxing stay is available at the hotel. Overall, a great choice for those looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with good service. Would definitely consider staying here again!

Hotel location is in a great place, surrounded by forests and provides fantastic sea view from our villa ( I was upgraded to a sea view villa - so much surprising even though I am a long-time and loyal Mariott/Ritz fan - thank you so much Brena ! Everything in this hotel was amazing - a territory is green and clean, breakfast is invariably rich and tasty, beach is not the best in Asia but good, villa was clean. Service is exceptional, attention to the details and treating the hotel guests as if they are a long time friends - it was so heartwarming and special. During our stay on villa, we were unexpectedly visited by a group of dusky leaf monkeys - shy, cute and delicate creatures - we were so happy to be able to watch them so close… Overall, we felt so close to the nature and frankly, Malaysia is certainly became one of my favorite… We loved our stay and we certainly will come back. Thank you Brena and team - you are truly special :)

A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

This was our first hotel that we visited in Langkawi. This is a really small luxury family hotel. The hotel is built in a beautiful European style with a courtyard. The room is spacious and very cozy. The staff is responsive, friendly and always ready to help. I would especially like to note the breakfasts with a variety of dishes of Malaysian, Indian, European and Asian cuisine. Also for breakfast you are brought a menu, you can choose a dish from it and it will be cooked and brought to you for free. There is a separate station with tea and coffee where they prepare excellent hot drinks such as Teh tarik. The hotel is small but at the same time people are accommodated by the pool and do not interfere with each other. The room has chic robes of the right size, which is important.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Langkawi than Berjaya resort. It is so beautifully located in the middle of the mountains, sea, and rainforest. There was a lot to do in the area - skycab, hiking, beach, island hopping. We really loved our stay. The staff was also exceptionally friendly and caring! This place is really worth the money.

Location was perfect for us, not too close to the main streets but not difficult to get to at all. Our host was so helpful and the traditional breakfast is a must. Accommodation is excellent and the views are fantastic.

Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

You have the cable cars and surrounding area that takes a...

You have the cable cars and surrounding area that takes a day to Explore and the crocodile park which is really good. Water falls and beaches. I would recommend staying at least 3 nights at this end of the island and 3 at the opposite end in kuha. Make sure to do the mangrove tour with a private boat haggle price.

Beautiful beach and mangroves. We did hte Mangrove ride and island hopping. Not easy to get around, its remote and on the northern most tip of the island, should have own vehicle. Not many restaurants around the area, only resorts.

Its just a great vacation here.. the staff is so friendly and the place was just too great.. i wish they have a lift so that customer can bring up their stuff easily.. overall very satisfied and if have a chance will come again to this beautiful place..

The beach was clean, and the sea was calm, most of the time. There were lots of creatures both on the beach and in the water. There were also monkeys , birds, bats, colugos and squirrels, making it a great place to observe and learn about nature

If you like developed, over-priced food, shopping and malls, Pantai Cenang is for you with the watersports, jetskis and parascending. If you're looking for beautiful sands and turquiose waters, calm and serene beaches then not for you at all!

Kuah was nice, the locals were very friendly and we found some restaurants that served great food, however, our accommodation could have been better. There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.
