The location is nearby to most of Langkawi attractions! My husband & me truly enjoy our stay. The Bayou staffs are friendly, resourceful & dedicated in their works. I requested for Honeymoon decoration, they managed to do it nicely! Also, my husband did surprise me with Candle Light Dinner at Hotel’s compound. It was perfectly done. Thank u so much The Bayou’s staff (Ayu, Deen, and others) for making my honeymoon trip a memorable one!

This is an excellent place to stay. It’s really close to the beach and to the main street. Check-in was easy, and the staff is just amazing. The bungalow is vell furnished with all amenities. Very nice hotel! Comfortable cottages/villas surrounded by well-groomed greenery. We stayed in the Villa Suite - very large, spacious interior with modern and stylish equipment. There is a small swimming pool at guests' disposal. The breakfast selection is limited, but everything is tasty and nicely served. The facility is located in the central part of the island, everywhere is easy to get to. The hotel staff is nice and very helpful! We will be back with great pleasure!

Staff was very friendly and the owner was very hospitable. My kids were using the pool in the evening, the owner came out to light mosquito incense for us as we waited by the poolside. Beds were comfy. There is a common area where you can dine and relax. Also some games to entertain kids.

What a hidden gem! This boutique house really exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing—staff were super kind and helpful. The bathroom was huge, clean, and came stocked with everything from shampoo to snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. I loved the free welcome drink when I arrived, and they even offer free cocktails in the evening. The vibe is super chill—there’s a terrace where you can relax with a drink, and downstairs there’s a bar and restaurant that made going out effortless.

A Tropical Jewel

Langkawi, as known as the jewel of Kedah, is the largest island in an archipelagio of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea. And a gem it certainly is, with lush scenery ranging from rice fields and rainforests to leaning palms on tropical beaches.

Of course, it’s the beaches that draw most visitors. Housing a good number of Langkawi hotels, Patai Cenang has the longest and most developed beach, and good nightlife. Neighbouring Pantai Tengah is more peaceful and a popular choice for families.

Langkawi Airport in the west is closest to Padang Matsirat. Just around the coast is the more secluded Burau Bay. The Telaga Tujuh waterfalls are nearby, and just north of its curving beach is the Langkawi Cable Car which travels into the heart of the rainforest, where the Sky Bridge provides amazing views.

Another sleepy beach is the northern Jalan Datai, home to a crocodile park. To the west Tanjung Rhu has one of the most scenic beaches, with bulbous, offshore islands reminiscent of many an action movie.

On the south of this duty-free island is the capital Kuah, whose most recognisable feature is the large eagle statue overlooking its harbour towards the islands beyond. This town has the largest concentration of apartments, motels and hotels in Langkawi on Booking.com.

Amazing hotel in the most amazing area of Langkawi. So quiet and pieceful, it is the best hotel and area if you want to relax and enjoy the best pool area and the best beach. Honestly there are no words to describe the beauty of it. Just be mindfull that is quite secudled so if you are looking for a lot of activities and restaurants you will need to have a minimun of 10/15 min ride. The staff is super friendly as well and the rooms are really good.

The location is very convenient hiden in jungle, and close to airport as well as town shops, restaurants etc. The stuff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. You can spot monkeys in the trees during daytime. Also tried SPA massages, very nice procedure.

If you like developed, over-priced food, shopping and malls, Pantai Cenang is for you with the watersports, jetskis and parascending. If you're looking for beautiful sands and turquiose waters, calm and serene beaches then not for you at all!

Kuah is just about decent but i would prefer the Cenang Beach area . If you can't get a hotel there, Kuah should be your next choice. The Island is small so you can get around in under 30 minutes to any spot of the island.

You have the cable cars and surrounding area that takes a day to Explore and the crocodile park which is really good. Water falls and beaches. I would recommend staying at least 3 nights at this end of the island and 3 at the opposite end in kuha. Make sure to do the mangrove tour with a private boat haggle price.

Beautiful beach and mangroves. We did hte Mangrove ride and island hopping. Not easy to get around, its remote and on the northern most tip of the island, should have own vehicle. Not many restaurants around the area, only resorts.

Pantai Cenang is a really happening place with lots of things to see and buy and lovely eating places as well. Just be prepared during the rainy season as the rain can come suddenly but it doesn't stay long so just find shelter somewhere and you'll be fine.

There were things in the apartment that did not work and we had a booking for 5 adults but there were only two coffee cups, four chairs. Lock on the balcony door didn't work and neither did the lock on bedroom 1 window. Also, it took a couple of days for the wi-fi to work correctly.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The Thai Restaurant was amazing - getting to the Sky Cab was just walking distance, that's worth a visit. I did a Mangrove Tour which was pretty good... I went on my own but a group tour might have been just as good.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset.

Great beach, not to many people, good to watch the sunset. But lots of it is privat and your only allowed to walk along the shore in these parts, which is kinda sad and stupid as you wouldnt disturb anyone by staying there. but the public places are great too so not too much of a let down.
