The hotel provides a pick up at the bus terminal on our arrival. Also drop us in town for our dinner and later come to pick up. We are so grateful of this service as the hotel located on a hill with a great views. Thanks to Mr Chang who also helps us to book our tour.

This resort is great for families with young kids! Firstly, the swimming pool comes with water slides for young kids 3 to perhaps 8 years old( or older) to enjoy! The older kids can swim in the adult pool with some arm floats if needed. Activities you can enjoy such as beach play, ATV and horse riding which are both affordable. You can ride the ATV along the beach or inside the forested area if you want to. On saturday night, the hotel will conduct a fire show on the beach which is awesome! Your family will get to light up a lantern and let it float up to the sky. Truly amazing experience. My Executive family room comes with a Jacuzzi tub! There is a spa for massages, a sauna, gym. There is also an indoor playground where kids gets to play with toys such as legos, and the older kids can play PS4! Thumbs up for the resort and its staff!

My main concern during my stay there was the hangout spots, especially at night. Since we all know Kuantan is Negeri Darul Event, I purposely came on weekdays. There are a lot of cafes, and if you stay nearby or in Kuantan city, some of them are within walking distance. During my stay there, i fully depending on the public transport and grab obv. I managed to try some of the famous things like Kula Cakes, celup tepung and the “tourist beach.” I haven’t tried their truly authentic local food yet or fully experienced the nature and culture due to my short stay but I definitely will someday. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend it for solo travelers.

Cameron Highlands was really nice — the weather was perfect, and it felt peaceful being away from the city noise. But weekends can be a nightmare: the market areas were packed, parking was a struggle, and traffic heading towards Brinchang was just terrible. Definitely a great escape, but try to go on a weekday if you want some peace.

Everything is over priced. Souveniers, food, water etc.

Everything is over priced. Souveniers, food, water etc. We are locals. The food in Cameron Highlands is more expensive than in the centre of KL. The entrance to the farms and some other venues are just too pricey. A family of 4 will end up paying RM100 to one spot. What about the other destinations? How can we promote local tourism when everything is priced for international tourists? The traffic jam to the farms up on the brinchang slope was the worst. Stuck for one hour and the cars on the other side even worse. Looked like 2 hours to me. No traffic control. I will not go to Cameron Highlands until that unnecessary traffic jam is not sorted.

Cherating is a nice place to stay due to its beach, scenery, food and resorts, hotels nearby. But during peak season, u need to plan much earlier to avoid staying in discomfort resorts or old resorts or old hotel. You can find a good resort with nice environment and scenery if u have ample time to make a research or survey and surprisingly there are upcoming resorts which i am looking to stay but its fully occupied.
