- From $300.58 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Excellent - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsAs former residents of Namibia, we would say this is a good place to stay and to experience the beautiful country of Namibia. We would tell people to make sure they get a meal plan, The food is great and you can drink the water safely. The Rhino tracking is a great way to safely get close to the animals, but you will have to do some walking. The location is wonderful even in the rainy season, it was so beautiful. We would recommend that people plan to come in a 4-wheel drive vehicle if there is a lot of rain.Guest review byShawnUnited States
- From $63.77 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 352 reviewsThe owners are fantastic. They are friendly and caring. We had engine problems with our vehicle and upon making it to the guesthouse they were making phone calls to a friend who is a mechanic. The friend came out the next day on a Sunday free of charge and told us what was wrong with the car. These folks go out of their way to help and treat you like family. Best place to stay in Otjiwarango and we have used other guesthouses.Guest review byStevenZambia
- From $80.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,814 reviewsWe liked everything! We were upgraded from the guesthouse to the lodge. The bedroom is the best we ever had in Namibia, king size bed, very spacious room well equipped with kettle & fridge, power & USB outlets…the breakfast included is a huge buffet, everything is delicious. Restaurant is also a buffet with excellent food changing each day. Waterberg Plateau is a few kms away.Guest review byRichardReunion

Otjiwarongo Railway Station with a locomotive worked between...
Otjiwarongo Railway Station with a locomotive worked between 1912-1960 is a real attraction. We visited the Cultural Center where 14+ children have the opportunity of dancing, playing on instruments, painting, drawing and so on after the school. Also we visited the Multi-Purpose Help Centre, where Monica Tjehiua presented the goals of the MPHC, which -for instance- feed the poor children, and organize lots of programs for the disabled persons, supporting old people. From Otjiwarongo it's quite easy to reach the Cheetah Foundation (40-45 km) and the Waterberg Plateau Game Reserve (80 km) as well.Guest review byEndreHungary - 10.0
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek.
This is a perfect halfway house from Etosha to Windhoek. We left Etosha to travel south, visiting the Cheetah Conservation Foundation at Otjiwarongo and then enjoying a relaxed dinner and evening at Out of Town Africa Lodge. Our stay was perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was relaxed, we were not the early birds, but we were not rushed away by the staff. I highly recommend this little gem of a town and place to stay.Guest review byRachaelSouth Africa
