One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi.
Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive.

I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area.
Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water.
Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational.
Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project"
'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

WOW!! what a little gem with personality as well as personal touches every where you look.
A homely atmosphere, with the family dogs joining the welcome as we step out of the vehicle, to the Brothers bringing out the fairy lights as the sun sets over the vast view in front of us as we enjoy drinks and conversation next to the pool.
As the fire crackles in the background, ready for the steaks to be prepared, the spread of side dishes are being set out in the beautiful dining room.
We enjoy dinner outside by a beautifully set round table, care being taken for our comfort as every chair has a blanket too.
The friendly care and attention taken by the Owner and her staff was unforgettable!!
I arranged for packed lunches for the next day's trip and we received way more than we needed. Freshly made sandwiches, fruit, snacks and drinks as well as vegetarian options.

The most spectacular thing is the view from the elevated deck viewing platform - we were able to enjoy a sundowner with perfect pina coladas, enjoying no less than 6 giraffes going about their evening - absolute bliss!
Staff were excellent- friendly, attentive and informative - absolutely brilliant safari tour arranged only the night before, seeing Elephants, Rhinos, Lions as well as all the other more common animals. Truly breathtaking.
The room was also 5* - soft netting put up to make the bed like a four poster, wonderful walk in shower, ultimate privacy and a little balcony in which to enjoy a morning tea/coffee.
My girlfriend and I are very grateful for our stay there!!

We loved this place! Nice, clean and new rooms. Everything looks perfect. Staff is nice, food is delicious, nice pools. Only half an hour from Etosha. This was the nicest place we stayed during our 3,5 weeks holiday in Namibia. Definitely go back there when we return.

Very relaxing and quiet lodge just outside of Outjo. The room was clean and bigger than expected. All the staff were very friendly. They also have a restaurant and the food is good. Would recommend.

A very convenient place to stay if you wanted to visit Etosha and wanted to stay outside the park. Good food and pleasant surroundings. We stayed in the tents but maybe would stay in the chalets next time

We spent two nights here…it was the right amount of time to view animals in Etosha National Park. The terrain here (unlike Numatoni) is vast and flat. Animals are few and far between but with persistance and great binoculars we spotted a Black Rhinocerous, elephants, zebra, springbok, oryx, giraffe, ostriches, and 1 lion, all during daylight hours. The food is best OUTSIDE the park. There is NO fuel in the ENTIRE park! The “Trading Post” is the nearest fuel to this village (less than 10km). Fuel is CRITICAL for planning in rural Namibia!

There is quite a bit to see in Outjo and the surrounding area. Outjo itself is a pleasant small town and it is within easy reach of the Etosha National Park, Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and Vingerklip.

We were disappointed by the extremely bad roads in the park. There is no information about the rugged dirt roads in the park. We were happy to leave the park without an accident or car broken. No good for self drive!

Outjo is not a very clean town but ideal stop over for travelers on their way to or from Etosha. Visitors can also by essential supplies for their on-going travels. An excellent and reasonably priced place to eat is at the Farmhouse Boutique in town, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner under the shady trees.
