Goes is a beautiful town with friendly, welcoming people.
Goes is a beautiful town with friendly, welcoming people. It is safe and clean with lots of history to it. The center of the town has many old buildings with so much character, then turn a corner and you have modern architecture that just fits in perfectly. Good place to stay if you like seafood and cycling. The place has an impressive feet of trawlers and oyster degustation peers. Calm and clean with some commercial roads. Unfortunatly the week we spent in Goes was the week the Fun-Fair was in town. The Grote Markt and the center of Goes was full of loud music and sound effects, bright flashing lights, smelly fried food and candyfloss, etc. This isn't why we visit "cute small tourist towns". so we were quite frustrated. However I will in future try and find out it this type of entertainment is around before booking.
