United KingdomEverything was just fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was in the town centre and right next to the harbour, which I had stunning view of from my room. The food at the restaurant was delicious - the breakfast buffet was so diverse and was pleasantly accompanied by a live performance by a pianist, and the meal options for dinner were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lofoten!

Nearby a golf course and nearby the starting point of a hike (Hoven 368m) We had the entire house. It was too big for us but we enjoyed all the views from this glass house. The kitchen was spacious, but be careful to bring all your food along since the nearest supermarket is very far away. You can buy baguettes at the local golfclub or nearest and only restaurant nearby is Låven. All rooms were very nice and the bathroom as well. The location is perfect if you want to visit places in eastern Lofoten. The campsite is big enough so you can easily find a place for you. Our original cottage was on the side of the campsite and we had some problems accessing the Wi-Fi. The host of the campsite was amiable and communicative. Once we informed him about our issues with the Wi-Fi, he offered us a nicer, and better-equipped cottage where the Internet connection worked perfectly. The central location of Leknes on the Lofoten Islands was great for exploring the south and north. Shopping and dining were within walking distance of the apartment. Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see. Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets. A very dreamy and picturesque town. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding. This is the place. There is a small pier to walk on.
