Very clean, comfortable and friendly accommodation - spacious rooms with large bathroom, hot water and A/C. Breakfast was delicious and very generous portion (eggs, potatoes and roti). The staff at the hotel were very friendly, hospital and helped us with storing our luggage and booking our onward travel to Kathmandu. The property is not located in the main town, so it’s very peaceful and relaxed. There is a restaurant on site serving a range of food, including traditional Nepalese food. Highly recommend and great value!

We liked everything, it was definitely the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Nepal! All the staff are extremely kind and always willing to help. They picked us up from the bus station, greeted us with a welcome drink and helped us book our bus back to Kathmandu. A special mention goes to Milan who was a exceptional, always very friendly and attentive and he made sure we didn’t need to worry about anything, thank you :) The area is very quiet and relaxing, with a nice view on the mustard field and a few minutes walk to the center. They also have a super nice pool and a beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy the sun.

The staff is so friendly and always helping. I booked for 3 nights and extended 2 more nights. We organized our 2 day trek through them and it was just lovely and the guides were really good too! Lovely tour and value for money. The lunch boxes were so good. The hotel itself has nice food and nice breakfast too. And the little terrassen with relax chairs are so nice to just take some time to chill. The beds were comfortable and the nights are quiet. Nice.

This was one of the best experiences we've have ever had in 30 years of travelling. Bishnu and his family are simply delightful! From the room to the great Nepalese food, to the amazing animals and birds! What we saw from rhino's to the amazing birds and the garials were simply stunning!A lovely family which helped made it simply memorable!

Suraj and his family went above and beyond to look after me. I’m a solo traveller and he booked me into the jeep safari before I even asked because he knew there was only one seat left. I asked to borrow some insect repellant and his father literally went to the shop to pick up a whole bottle for me. The tours were incredible, the tour guides were knowledgeable and I saw loads of wildlife. Even though we all had separate rooms, I felt connected to the other travellers and it felt like a hostel. We find this hotel do not offer any safari with elephant so it's good to know that they support animals and take care of animals feelings. Hotel National park sauraha is only the hotel that does not offer elephant safari in chitwan. I do definitely recommend to everyone staying in this hotel or staying in other hotel to arrange the chitwan national park Safari as they give you the best experience and all the effort to make your safari memorable. Will definitely visit Hotel National Park Sauraha one day

Ram and his family are so kind and generous. And went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. I was in a room with a firm bed and he switched me out right away. He helped me to get to places out of the way. I am incredibly grateful for his caring and attentive responses. Ram & his family made my stay Great! Their place is great valve for the low budget traveler. You can sit out in front of your room and chill looking out at their lovely garden for some peace and quiet. And the river & town are just walking distance. The animal hospital and information centre are a stone's throw away. The rooms are clean and the bed is decent. And I was able to get my laundry done. They are all about making you feel at home, and I did. Thank you🙏💖✨ Definitely a lovely little place to stay!

The owner and staff were exceptional. I was picked up at the bus. The location a short walk to the river and scenic spot. Tours were arranged especially the travel by local bus to Lumbini. Room clean with a balcony view of trees with a resident monkey. I ate the local high caste meal

An excellent and welcoming hotel in the Chitwan National Park area. Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

Very nice stay, nature sounds, loads of birds, I spotted monkeys, peacocks, buffalos from the place. Friendly people working there. Food was delicious. Simple eco-friendly accommodation. Treehouse sleeping was a one in a lifetime experience. Amazing views! (we even got to see the Annapurna range in the morning). We all celebrated festival time together, thank you for including us! Walking distance to town (15-20 min), or by tuktuk! The open shower was dreamy!! Walking tour was a highlight of my experience, I learnt so much about plants. Thank you all, you became like my family!

Green Mansions Jungle Resort is peaceful and quiet. Such a nice place to visit away from the hustle and bustle in Kathmandu. The staff were so kind and helpful. I could not recommend it highly enough. I went on a reserved jungle safari with Dev and he was amazing. He answered all my questions and took some incredible photographs for me through his binoculars. If you go on the jungle safari ask for Dev, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again to everyone at the resort. I’ve had an experience I shall never forget.

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
