Amazing place and the value for money is ridiculous. We had a room with mountain view, it was gorgeous. The service is really excellent and they make anything happen for their customers. One of the best places we stayed in KTM by far, and we went to quite a lot of hotels.

Great hotel. Much more that I was thinking about. Stuff and CEO is very helpful and do all of their best to help you. Food was good in hotel. Room was comfortable, but remember, you have no heating in Nepal. So, you must use conditioner to heat the room. And you'll get one-way free transfer from or to airport. It was great experience in this hotel. Highly recommend. Location - in the historical center of Kathmandu.

Nestled close to the city center, the hotel is just a 15-minute walk to Durbar Square, and the route takes you right through a vibrant bazaar—the perfect chance to pick up unique gifts and souvenirs while soaking in the lively atmosphere of the Thamel quarter. This area is a dream for backpackers, with its charming streets, hidden gems, and rooftop restaurants offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan mountains. One of the highlights of our trip was a Himalayan exploration tour that the hotel staff arranged for us. The price was reasonable, and we spent a whole day hiking in the hills, getting closer to the majestic mountains we had longed to see. It was exactly what we were looking for, and we truly appreciated how effortlessly they helped make it happen. A home away from home. This place is a prime example of where one can still receive 5 star hospitality without staying in a 5 star hotel. I was provided free pickup from the airport and to my next hotel. Breakfast was simple and yet delicious. And you can eat as much as you like. Food is served fresh from the kitchen. Every hotel staff are so friendly. Even the manager was checking on each guest during breakfast to ensure that they were satisfied with their meals and stay.

    The guesthouse totally outwent my expectations. The stuff is friendly and works good and fast (Restaurant). The Restaurant has healthy good and pricy food. There is a SPA, hairdresser, Yogaclasses and an art museum on the other side of the building. The rooms were so clean and very quite - even by being in the middle of Kathmandu! Also there is a lovely inner courtyard!

    On the first day of Kathmandu in the city bus I was stolen money from my poshest. Until that time I had thought that Nepali were honest and diligent. So that I didn’t pay attention to things like having my money stolen on the bus. On the last day the airport was closed because of the strike, so I had to reschedule my ticket and stay in hotel one night more The city is so dusty and lots of rubbish. However, I like the old cultural constructions and festivals.

    In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

    Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

    You have to say No!

    You have to say No! Everyone wants you to buy from them but they are used to being rejected. There are some people wanting to talk to you, often wanting to show you their workplaces etc so they can lure you in to buy their wares. Conversations always start with Hello sir/madam. Which country are you from? However, lovely people and a lo ely place, full of history and religious beliefs.

    Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot

    It is less filled with tourists than Kathmandu or Thamel and seems to me more authentic. The Durbar square is amazing, as well as the small local temples and stupas. You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. You can get around on foot, but if you want to go to Kathmandu itself or to Bhaktapur, you can take a car via the Indrive app.
