Everything. Very nice, modern, well furnished and equiped apartment with nice kitchen and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh home made bread, house eggs, home made jogurt was fabulous and fruits from the garden, milk and orange juice was on the fridge and home made cookies were absolutely delicious. I’m coffee lover so I appreciated nesspresso machine with milk steamer (fresh milk was available in the fridge ). I was also very nicely suprised with dyson hairdryer which you can’t see even in the most luxurious hotel. Moreover Kylie (host) was very nice, let our dauther to play in their garden, she let her feed her chickens and ship and let us to take some fruits from her garden. We stayed just for one night, but it was great stay and when we’ll come back to New Zealand we’ll definitely stay here again. Absolutely recommend Matamata country B&B 👍

Very charming cottage! Decorated with taste and old historical details of the mining history of the region. It’s very cozy and comfortable. It’s super clean and very well equipped. Views and terrace are delightful with direct access to animal farm (sheep and chickens). A lot of historical trails in the area. The family who owns the cottage is lovely.

This was an amazing stay! Our family of 5 was visiting Hobbiton and we needed a place where we could all stay together comfortably. This house had everything we needed and lovely unexpected touches like chocolates and coffee! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

It's lovely home, clean and tidy, location perfect, walking 5minutes to hot springs, 7 minutes driving to city center, beds very comfortable, shower aweome and georgeous views in a golf course. Ken is very friendly and gives lots of good suggestions. Excellent experience in living here.

We could see the cows in the paddock when we arrived and even from the lounge area and some of the bedroom windows. The area is also quaint and quiet with great sunset views. The place has everything you need for a short stay and a short drive from Hobbiton and the Blue Springs.
